Item Frame Cache for Items & Maps
- By
Keep map walls, item displays, item frames and wall paintings visible beyond the server’s tracking distance. Lightweight, client-side and highly configurable for large Minecraft builds.
Without the mod, item frames disappear when moving beyond the server's entity tracking distance, leaving large sections of the map display unloaded.
With Item Frame Cache enabled, previously rendered maps remain visible even after their item frames are no longer being tracked by the server.
A complete large-scale map floor viewed from above. Item Frame Cache is designed to keep displays containing thousands of individual maps visible while minimizing client-side memory usage. This sample has more than 3.000 maps.
