**Reborn in another world? Then you deserve a cheat skill.**

Shatter an **Awakening Crystal** and the world decides your fate: you awaken one of **12 Unique Skills**, each with **4 abilities**, a passive bonus and an ultimate that triggers its own anime cut-in. Every skill has hand-made visuals: magic circles, lightning, beams, domains, tornadoes, screen shake and full-screen colour shaders.

## ✦ Features

- **12 powers, 48 abilities.** Fire, lightning, ice, shadow armies, infinity, devouring slimes, holy swords, blood magic, wind, time manipulation, ninjutsu and dragons.
- **Cinematic awakening.** Black letterbox bars, an orbiting camera, energy spiralling into you, a climax explosion, then your power's name and emblem revealed in an isekai-style **System** window.
- **Anime ultimate cut-ins.** Casting an ultimate flashes a banner with the skill's name across your screen.
- **Custom visuals everywhere:**
- 16 custom particle types
- rotating rune magic circles (unique per power)
- jagged lightning, beams and shockwaves
- glowing energy domes, ice crystals, tornadoes and phoenix/dragon wings
- **Screen effects.** Camera shake, flashes and anime speed lines. Time Stop drains the world of colour, and the Blood Moon turns it red.
- **Isekai "System" interface:**
- a skill bar with cooldowns and a mana bar
- typed-out notification windows
- a **Status Window** (press **H**) listing your power, passive and every skill
- **Summons.** Raise horned **Shadow Knights** (custom animated model with glowing eyes and a greatsword), or create **Shadow Clones** that wear *your* skin.
- **30 original sound effects** made for the mod.
- **Grief-safe.** No skill ever breaks blocks, and skills only hurt other players when PvP is enabled on the server.

## ✦ The 12 Unique Skills

Some highlights:
- **Zero Hour** freezes every enemy, mob and projectile around you for six seconds.
- **Absolute Zero** encases foes in ice, then shatters them.
- **Arise** raises three horned Shadow Knights from the ground to fight for you.
- **Hollow Purple** fires an imaginary mass that erases everything in its path.
- **Rewind** sends you three seconds back in time and restores the health you lost.

## ✦ Getting started

1. **Craft an Awakening Crystal** (recipe below) or take one from the *Isekai Ascension* creative tab.
2. **Right-click** to shatter it and watch your awakening.
3. Use your skills with **R**, **G**, **V** and your ultimate with **Z**. Press **H** to open your Status Window.

Skills cost **mana** (regenerates over time) and have individual cooldowns shown on the skill bar.

Want a different power? Read a **Scroll of Oblivion** to seal your current one, then shatter a new crystal.

All keys can be rebound under *Options → Controls → Isekai Ascension*.

### Recipes

- **Awakening Crystal** (shaped): 4 Amethyst Shards in the corners, 4 Diamonds on the sides, an Eye of Ender in the center.
- **Scroll of Oblivion** (shapeless): 2 Paper, 1 Ink Sac, 1 Amethyst Shard, 1 Ender Pearl.

- **Minecraft 1.21.1**
- **NeoForge 21.1.265** or newer (21.1.x)
- No other dependencies.
- Install on **both the client and the server** for multiplayer.

## ✦ FAQ

**Can I pick my power?**
In survival the crystal chooses at random. Server operators can grant any power with `/setpower`.

**Can I have two powers?**
No. A soul can only hold one Unique Skill, and the crystal refuses to work if you already have one. Use a Scroll of Oblivion to reroll.

**Will skills destroy my builds?**
No. Every explosion, meteor and lightning strike is purely visual for blocks; only entities take damage.

**Does it work in PvP?**
Skills only damage other players when PvP is enabled on the server, and never affect players in creative mode.
