Iron Chests (Fabric & NeoForge)

This is the biggest Iron Chest update to date. It brings plenty of new (long-asked for) features, as well as many bug fixes. Please also be aware of the breaking changes. Iron Chest now requires IronCore to run.

- Breaking: IronChests now requires IronCore.
- Breaking: Chest upgrades are now linear from Copper to Netherite. Old pre-existing upgrades are converted on pick-up.
- Feature: Chest sizes can now be configured via the config file.
- Feature: Chests can now be opened under a full block if enabled in the config (disabled by default).
- Feature: Chests now unlock advancements.
- Feature: Chests can now be used by Copper Golems as a deposit location. (can be disabled in the config)
- Feature: New "Key" mechanic allows to lock a chest, so that only you and a list of trusted players can access it. (can be disabled in config)
- Feature: New "Hand Truck" can be used to relocate a chest without breaking it, keeping its inventory. The "Enhanced Hand Truck" can also move spawners. (can be disabled in config)
- Feature: New "Dirt Chest 9000!" is a large chest that can be used to store dirt!
- Feature: Tooltips now show the chest size and its unique features (if any).
- Feature: New Crystal Chest texture.
- Feature: New Upgrade textures.
- Fix: Copper Chest crafting recipe does not collide anymore witht the Vanilla Copper Chest.
- Fix: Recipes have been balances.
- Fix: Recipes now unlock when the previous chest tier is discovered.
- Fix: Duplicated recipes have now been removed.
- Fix: Netherite Chest can now be crafted from Emerald and Obisidian chests too.
- Fix: Vanilla Copper Chest can be converted into IronChest Copper Chest, and vice versa.
- Fix: Removed old leftover textures no longer used.
- Fix: Lowered Crystal Chest strenght (it was previously blastproof).
- Fix: Breaking a Golden Chest requires an Iron Pickaxe now.
- Fix: Enchanted Books or enchanted items would lose their enchantments if you were to upgrade your 1.21.4 (or older) world to 1.21.5 (or newer). A migration strategy has been implemented to restore the enchantments.
