Iron Jetpacks is a fully customizable Forge Energy powered jetpacks mod. All jetpacks this mod adds by default are completely configurable via JSON files.
This mod also allows for the addition of custom jetpacks!
- This is done by simply copy + pasting one of the default jetpack jsons and changing the name (and all the other values if you want).
- Both the name of the file and the "name" value in the JSON need to be changed.
- It's also important to note that the "name" in the JSON should be all lower case with underscores for spaces.
- The jetpack JSONs can be found in ../config/ironjetpacks/jetpacks
- Make sure to head to the wiki linked in the navigation bar for explanations on what the different values mean.
I am trying to play ATM6 but every time I attempt to load the game I get an error saying "Iron Jetpacks tried to register multiple jetpacks with the same name: creative". Anyone know my problem?

someone's new to modded Minecraft. You need a generator of some kind, the pack your playing should have some sort of way to generate RF plus YouTube/google is your friend. this video should help, its a bit dated but the same principals apply
As of 4.2.0 - activating the engine, via keybind, seems to insta-crash modpacks. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Do you have curious jetpacks installed? I've found that it's working fine in the vanilla armour slot but crashes in the curio slot.

They have already fixed it, use the latest 1.16.5 version (it works on 1.16.4).

HOW DO I GO ON HOVER MODE
editing the json files in my dedicated server files isn't actually effecting the jetpacks in game. their speed does not get changed at all but if I change the fuel amount it will change in game but not right. for example, I change the iron jetpack from 800k to 880k fuel as a test. in game it now says 880k/800k fuel. I'm assuming this isn't right but not sure of the cause. this is all on a dedicated server and the only files I have touched are the ones in the ftp config no local.

Heh, seems someone got triggered over a non-sarcastic comment, a$$hole is subjective.
I was dead serious when I said it should be obvious, many mods have been doing this for years with the forge energy (FE) system added to forge in MC 1.12+. The statement was more judgemental or hypercritical rather than witty or ironic - it was criticism.

new players exist ya know....and theres also ppl like me who has had minecraft for a decade and even modded it but never touched stuff like rf and fe. I've just never wanted to learn how to use all those complicated mods like ae2. so that comment was a life saver cuz ive been searching for a way to power this stuff for ages.
Is there any chance that curioAPI support could be added so that these can be equipped to a backslot?
