What's new

Villager Trading System

  • Expanded villager professions to 35 trades each, with 7 trades per profession level.
  • Rebalanced trade progression from Novice to Master.
  • Expanded trades for:
    • Armorer
    • Butcher
    • Cartographer
    • Cleric
    • Farmer
    • Fisherman
    • Fletcher
    • Leatherworker
    • Librarian
    • Mason
    • Shepherd
    • Toolsmith
    • Weaponsmith
  • Removed Diamond-based trades to match the current Iourus progression.
  • Avoided dependencies on Iourus Ores in villager trades.
  • Added more profession-appropriate materials, equipment, food, resources, and utility items.
  • Preserved the existing dynamic Economy pricing system for all new trades.
  • Prepared the system for future special trades using ItemStack components, such as enchanted equipment, exploration maps, colored equipment, and tipped arrows.

Wandering Trader

  • Added support for the Wandering Trader to use Iourus Economy trades instead of vanilla pricing.
  • Added a dedicated IourusWanderingTraderTrades trade pool.
  • Added a dedicated IourusWanderingTraderTradeInjector.
  • Wandering Traders now generate 7 randomized trades:
    • 4 Common
    • 2 Uncommon
    • 1 Rare
  • Added separate Common, Uncommon, and Rare item pools.
  • Wandering Trader offers use the existing TradeDefinition and IourusVillagerTradeFactory systems.
  • Wandering Trader prices are therefore calculated through EconomyMarket, just like villager trades. TradeDefinition already routes player purchases through the central trade factory. TradeDefinition
  • Vanilla Wandering Trader offers are replaced with Iourus offers.
  • Added protection against rerolling trades by repeatedly reopening the same trader.
  • Different Wandering Traders can generate different inventories.
  • Added market-price refreshing for Wandering Trader offers.
  • No JSON trade system was required; Wandering Traders reuse the existing Java-based trade architecture.

Economy Integration

  • Maintained the three existing trade types:
    • PLAYER_SELLS
    • PLAYER_BUYS
    • SERVICE TradeDefinition
  • All expanded trades continue using centralized market prices rather than hardcoded currency costs.
  • Existing service trades continue calculating their price from the difference between input sell value and output buy value. TradeDefinition
  • Kept the existing TradeDefinition architecture intact rather than creating a parallel trading system.
