This Mod will make you explode if you get within 10 blocks of any mob. This goes in any direction, and it works in a cube formation. So you the distance will be slightly more in a diagonal direction, but it will still be 10 blocks long, just measuring diagonally. So the maximum distance at which you will explode is 10(sqrt(3)) * the length of the side of one block. I know that is strange but that is how the hypotenuse math works out.
This mod will make it difficult to do pretty much anything in the game, from getting food, to mining, to going to the nether. You will find yourself blowing up constantly, sometimes in jump-scare fashion, and it can be agonizing. It is meant as an absurd challenge run, and that is how I treated in on my playthrough of it, which I have posted on youtube and I will link it at some point
I challenge you to beat the game in this state. Or better yet, in hardcore mode, if you are a real gamer.
