By now, we've all heard the quote a million times over, there is no Introduction needed for the concept of the liminal space known as The Backrooms or The Complex. This mod currently aims to give a fairly faithful representation of the Backrooms with some creative liberties (sorry, no levels and no fun fellows!) although I am currently considering the Idea of expanding with new dimensions inspired on other famous liminal spaces.
This mod currently adds one dimension: The Complex.
(Please note this dimension is currently too accurate to the classic backrooms in that it cannot be escaped without dying in-game!)
The Complex has Four Biomes:
The Yellow Hallways
Crossroads
Stripped Mall
& Pitfalls
Three Mobs Currently Exist:
The Dimension is notably barren of constant entities, rather only 2 main entity classes and three total mobs exist:
The Still lives (which may get an expansion)
Anatomy- Skeleton Still-Life
Carcass- Zombie Still-Life
and the highly elusive Biomass
The Still Lives are limited in their spawning, as they are restricted to infested wallpaper blocks, which only one of the two will randomly emerge from.
The Biomass may very rarley spawn in a secret biome. only one biomass can spawn within a 700 block radius of the player; Two Biomasses cannot naturally spawn within 700 blocks of eachother and a player.
There is more to this mod that I dont have interest in adding onto this description, Many of the mechanics are best experienced without prior knowledge of the mod!
