InterBridge
InterBridge is a lightweight compatibility mod that connects the mechanics of different mods so they interact logically with each other.
The mod works as a collection of independent compatibility bridges.
Each bridge activates only if the required mods are installed, so you don't need to install every supported mod.
No core mechanics are replaced — InterBridge simply links existing systems together.
Compatibility Bridges

Seasonal changes influence Weather2 storms.
-
Spring increases rain frequency.
-
Summer increases the chance of tornadoes and severe storms.
-
Autumn keeps weather close to neutral.
-
Winter suppresses tornadoes and strong storms.

Ice and Fire (CE / Classic) + Weather2
Lightning dragon eggs can progress their hatching during Weather2 rainstorms, not only vanilla rain.
A safe precipitation check is used to avoid the known Weather2 2.8.3 storm crash issue.
undefined

Ice and Fire (CE / Classic) + Serene Seasons
Dragon eggs now react to seasons.
-
Fire eggs progress better during warm seasons in fire conditions
-
Ice eggs freeze faster during winter when placed in water
-
Lightning eggs receive seasonal bonuses during rainy conditions

Weather2 + Biomes O' Plenty + Terralith
Biome climate affects storm behavior.
-
Wet / jungle / swamp biomes favor rain storms
-
Hot dry biomes increase tornado probability
-
Cold or snowy biomes suppress tornadoes
-
Mountain biomes slightly intensify storms
undefined

MoCreatures + Serene Seasons + Weather2
Only new natural spawns from MoCreatures are affected.
Seasonal behavior:
-
Winter reduces insects, reptiles, and warm-climate creatures
-
Summer reduces cold-climate creatures
-
Autumn slightly reduces insects
Weather effects:
- Rain and storms reduce insects, small land animals, and some birds.
Already spawned or tamed creatures are never modified or removed.
WTHIT / Waila Tooltips + Ice and Fire
Adds tooltip information for dragon eggs and dragons.
Displayed info may include:
-
Dragon type
-
Egg growth stage
-
Incubation status
-
Owner (if detectable)
Cataclysm + Biomes O' Plenty
Expands Cataclysm structure biome pools using datapack tags so structures can generate in Biomes O' Plenty biomes, not just vanilla ones.

Epic Fight + Ice and Fire CE
Adds a compatibility patch for Epic Fight.
Fixes include:
-
Prevents crashes caused by the legacy IceAndFireCompat expecting the classic mod while CE is installed
-
Safely recognizes CE dragons
-
Adds a client armor layer patch for CE / Uranus armor, preventing Epic Fight’s problematic armor bake path

MineColonies + Ice and Fire Bridge
InterMod Bridge includes built-in compatibility between MineColonies and both versions of Ice and Fire:
- the original Ice and Fire
- Ice and Fire Community Edition (CE)
This integration lets MineColonies guards work together with supported tamed Ice and Fire companions without requiring the separate `IceFireColonies` mod.
Features
- Adds a Command Baton item
- Lets you assign supported tamed Ice and Fire creatures to MineColonies guards
- Assigned companions can follow their guard
- Companions can assist their guard against hostile targets
- Guards can store an overwatch position
- Guard-companion assignments are saved with the world
- Works with both legacy Ice and Fire and Ice and Fire CE
Supported Companions
The bridge currently supports:
- Dragons
- Amphitheres
- Pixies
How To Use
1. Craft or obtain the Command Baton
2. Sneak-right-click a MineColonies guard to select them
3. Right-click a tamed supported Ice and Fire creature you own to assign it
4. Optionally right-click a block to set an overwatch position for the selected guard
Important
- You do not need to install `IceFireColonies` together with InterMod Bridge
- If you use InterMod Bridge 1.0.3+, remove the separate `IceFireColonies` mod to avoid duplicate logic and conflicts
- This bridge only activates when the required mods are present
- If MineColonies or Ice and Fire is missing, InterMod Bridge will simply skip this compatibility layer
What This Mod Does NOT Do
InterBridge intentionally avoids intrusive changes.
The mod:
-
❌ does not require installing all supported mods
-
❌ does not modify other mod jar files
-
❌ does not despawn or modify tamed creatures
-
❌ does not change already generated chunks
-
❌ does not replace core mechanics of other mods
It only connects them together.
