Insufferable Remarks

Ever thought that the death screen was a little too boring? Wish that you could get more angry at your computer every time you stub your toe and die? Do you just enjoy a little bit of comedy to really stupid deaths? Well, Insufferable Remarks is the mod for you!

This is a very simple mod that just adds one little visual feature. Every time you die, a small splash message will appear on the death screen. These splash messages are completely compatible with resource packs - meaning you can add your own death messages with ease! There's also unique messages for Hardcore mode, just to be even more mean.

Also, in case it doesn't make sense, the icon is Steve doing Take the L. Not that that matters, though.

Features

• Witty comments appear on your death screen when you die!
• Unique messages for Hardcore deaths!
• Can bob up and down like splash messages! (Disabled by default: enable in the config file by setting doBobbing to true)
• Completely modifiable with resource packs:
  • Regular messages can be added with a text file: assets/<namespace>/text/insufferable_remarks/death_messages.txt
  • Hardcore messages can be added with a text file: assets/<namespace>/text/insufferable_remarks/death_messages_hardcore.txt
• Will get mad when you install other death message mods!
