InstantXP 2.0 is a complete update focused on fast, reliable XP orb absorption while preserving vanilla Minecraft behavior.

Features

• Updated to Minecraft 26.1.
• Available for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
• Removes the delay between consecutive XP orb pickups.
• Collects nearby XP orbs early at approximately 1.25 blocks.
• Processes merged orb stacks within the same server tick, preventing orbs from circling around the player while waiting to be collected.
• Preserves vanilla orb movement and attraction.
• Fully server-side XP handling.

Vanilla Compatibility

• XP amounts remain exactly as provided by vanilla.
• Mending continues to use vanilla behavior.
• Orb values are never modified.
• No additional XP is created.
• Orbs are not manually discarded.
• Vanilla playerTouch logic remains responsible for awarding XP, applying Mending, reducing orb counts and removing consumed orbs.
• Added defensive orb-count validation to prevent unexpected behavior or excess XP when other mods alter pickup processing.

Multiplayer

• Install the mod on the dedicated server.
• Players do not need to install it on their clients.
• Installing it only on a client provides no advantage on remote servers.
• Singleplayer is supported through Minecraft's integrated server.

Fixes

• Fixed large groups of merged XP orbs taking too long to disappear.
• Fixed Forge mixin registration in production JARs.
• Fixed Forge and NeoForge startup errors caused by an unsupported Mixin Java compatibility level.
• Removed obsolete refmap declarations.
• Improved compatibility with other mods that modify experience orb pickup behavior.
