Inquisition Delayed

☣️ Overview
Inquisition Delayed is a lightweight server-side NeoForge addon for Fungal Infection: Spore and Spore Inquisition.
The addon introduces a simple "Dormant State" that prevents the infection from starting when a world is first created.
While dormant:
Spore content remains available World generation remains unchanged Structures still generate Items and recipes remain accessible Progression systems continue to function
The only difference is that infection-related entities are prevented from spawning.
Once activated through /inqdel start, both mods resume their normal behavior and continue exactly as intended by their original authors.
Inquisition Delayed does not rebalance, modify, replace or rewrite any Spore mechanics. Its sole purpose is to give modpack creators control over when the infection begins, while preserving the original gameplay experience once activated.

🧬 Infection Gating
While dormant, the addon prevents targeted Spore entities from spawning through multiple NeoForge server hooks:
- Spawn placement checks
- Spawn position checks
- Finalize-spawn cancellation
- Entity join cancellation
Primary Entity Tag
#spore:fungus_entities
Additional Exposed Tag
#inq_delayed:blocked_spore_entities
This allows modpack developers to extend or override the blocked entity list if future versions of Spore modify their tags.
💾 Persistence
The infection state is stored in world data.
Every newly created world starts in the Dormant state.
🔧 Compatibility & Scope
Inquisition Delayed is intentionally minimal.
It does not:
- Change infection mechanics
- Modify progression systems
- Alter balancing
- Modify world generation
- Replace entities
- Patch gameplay behavior
The addon simply adds a dormant state and activation controls.
