InoFruits 4.0.0
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
InoFruits 4.0.0
Two new Mythical Zoans, the Hydra and the Griffon, and every fruit now follows the size of its user. A giant's techniques reach further, hit harder and throw further. A man at normal size plays as before, apart from the forms listed under "Forms that change for everyone".
Requires Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47+, Mine Mine no Mi 0.11.6 and AkumaLib 6.1.0 or newer.
⚠️ Update AkumaLib to 6.1.0 first. With an older AkumaLib the game refuses to start and says which version it needs. AkumaLib 6 does not play with 5.2.0 or older: update the server and every client together.
⚠️ This is a beta. The new size rules have been checked by automated tests, not by playing. Numbers may change.
New fruits
Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Hydra - a Mythical Zoan, found in golden boxes. Suggested by Gecko1017.
- Cut off one head and two grow back. The hydra starts with three heads and can have up to nine. A heavy blow severs one, which takes part of the blow, and a few seconds later two grow in its place. Every technique is stronger with more heads.
- Fire is its weakness. A head lost to fire, or while burning, leaves a charred stump that does not grow back for 30 seconds.
- Two forms: the Heavy Point, a fast hybrid with the necks rising from its shoulders, and the Guard Point, the whole hydra, slow and very hard to bring down.
- Twelve techniques: King Cobra Strike (every head bites its own enemy), Python Coil (the necks seize and crush), Severed Head (throw one of your own heads - it grows back double), Diamondback Guard (a wall of necks against blows from the front), Hydra's Blood and Taipan Geyser (a venom that stops all healing), Boomslang Blitz (the hybrid's lunge), Anaconda Press (the beast's crushing leap), Kingsnake's Feast (bite to heal), Molt (shed your skin to shake off effects and holds), Frenzy (every head bites on its own) and the ultimate, Nine Heads.
- The hydra is immune to poison.
Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Griffon - a Mythical Zoan, found in golden boxes. The flying Zoan that carries its prey away.
- Two forms that both fly: the Fly Point, the whole griffon, which an ally can ride, and the Assault Point, a hybrid with talons, wings and a lion's legs. It sheds feathers in its wake.
- Talon Grab and Skydrop: seize an enemy in the talons, carry it up for a few seconds and let it fall. The prey breaks free by striking the griffon. The talons close a moment after the cry: a prey that steps away or raises its guard in time is missed. A griffon flies slower while it carries. An ally who sneaks under the griffon is lifted instead, unharmed, for up to 10 seconds, and set down gently.
- Diving Strike: dive on a spot and crash down, harder from higher.
- Wing Gale: one beat of the wings throws enemies back and sends arrows and other projectiles back where they came from. In the air it also pushes the griffon the other way: look down to leap upward.
- Lion's Roar: enemies close by are slowed and weakened, and stay outlined for you for 10 seconds, even behind walls.
- Rending Talons: three rakes of the talons, and the last one leaves the target bleeding.
- Hoard Guard: mark up to three chests as your hoards. Whoever opens or breaks one is slowed, and shown to you through walls for a minute.
- Keen Eyes: enemies in view are outlined from very far away.
Every fruit follows your size
AkumaLib 6 lets a player be bigger or smaller than a man. Every InoFruits technique now takes that into account.
- Reach, areas and damage grow with your body: at four times a man's height, about twice the reach and twice the damage. A blow of arm's reach grows a little more.
- Pushes, leaps and dashes carry further, and your steps climb higher.
- What you summon or leave behind grows too: Bai Bai's clones, the bubbles of the Gamu Gamu no Mi, the Hydra's shed skin.
- The laws of the Oki Oki no Mi and the senses of the Kane Kane no Mi reach further.
- Kugi Yoroi and the bear's fur answer a blow from wherever a giant can strike you. Their reach used to stop at a man's arm.
- What is sent back stays what it was. Blows returned by Toge, Kugi Yoroi and the Kaze Kaze no Mi do not grow with the size of the one returning them.
Forms that change for everyone
These four change even at normal size. The numbers are first drafts.
- Isa Isa Guard Point, Hydra Guard Point and Griffon Fly Point count as big bodies: your walk, jump, fall and melee reach follow the form's size. Their techniques keep a man's numbers, and a bigger player's grow from their own size alone.
- The golem of the Tsuchi Tsuchi no Mi counts as a big body too, and here the techniques also grow, on top of what the golem already gave them.
Powers that meet
- Sound obeys silence. The whale's song, the bear's roar and the griffon's roar cannot be used under the Silent of the Nagi Nagi no Mi, and a silenced target is not reached by them.
- Water washes off the paint of the Some Some no Mi and the salt of the Shio Shio no Mi. Standing in water, the bubbles of the Awa Awa no Mi or a thrown bottle of water all work.
- The steam of the Yuge Yuge no Mi counts as being wet for every power. Lightning hurts a steamed target more, and its own combos also work on a target that is wet for another reason.
- The nail armour of the Kugi Kugi no Mi is made of steel. Lightning and rust hurt its user 25 % more while it is on.
Other
- Fruit icons corrected, among them the Kugi Kugi and Neji Neji no Mi.
- Technique descriptions are plainer, and their tooltips show the numbers for your size.
- Built against Mine Mine no Mi 0.11.6.
