Informational Accessories
Trinkets to help you better understand your world
How does it work?
This mod will remove all entries from the F3 debug menu. Information is then re-added once you have the appropriate item that is related to that information. Some items will have multiple pieces of information, and vanilla items can also have info provided by them. The information provided by the item is also shown in the item's tooltip.
Current Items?
- Compass - The X and Z of the player
- Stopwatch - The movement speed of the player
- Sextant - The current moon phase
- Depth Meter - The Y of the player
- Debugger - WIP
- Slimey Compass - Whether or not the player is in a slime chunk
- Chunker - The Chunk's X and Y coordinate
- DPS Monitor - WIP
- Structure - WIP
Terraria as inspiration?
Yes, this mod was inspired by the informational accessories from Terraria. The level of inspiration includes several of the items in the mod, and in some cases textures were directly inspired by the Terraria textures. None of the Terraria textures are included in this mod.
Planned Features?
- Crafting Recipes
- FPS/Debug Info
- Ability to white-list pre-existing entries so they're not cleared.
- Item support for other mods that add to the f3 menu.

Couple things I'd love to see if you ever plan to work on this further:
1. Keep the fps alongside the information presented in your mod
2. Combine accessories into a single accessory that displays multiple values, (
namely the calendar [useful for serene seasons]well scratch that, definitely doesn't sync, depth meter [useful for ore finding], and biomealyzer [useful for biome mods]) so as to only take one bauble slot. Various combinations such as in Terraria would be great as well.I don't see much use for the rest of the accessories. I like to restrict the usage of coordinates and such as well since that makes a lot of the vanilla gameplay, such as exploration, cartography, etc, obsolete.
I also honestly wouldn't worry about recipes. It's easy enough for anyone to use crafttweaker or IGCM to do their own.
In any case I'll be using those 3 accessories as is. Thanks for the mod!
Cool ill try it out wiht my other 78 mods see if any of them interfere with em!
Is this mod dead?

Once the item is craft does it need to stay in hand\inventory to work? Is it compatible with baubles?
In reply to Forge_User_76639977:
I'm working with this in SevTech and am trying to figure out the relationship between the day listed by the calendar and the Minecraft day.
I based my calculations on a standard year of 365 days, no leap years. My in-game calendar is currently showing Dec 25, year 3. Minecraft /time query reports day 1453
But my calculations turn Dec 25 year 3 into 1454, so I'm off by one day. Have I missed something silly like a leap year (are they even included here?), or am I safe to simply subtract 1 from my number and call it a day?
Could you change the explicit version requirement in your mod so it works in 1.12.1?

A neat idea :D
Perfect for my 1.10.2 modpack!
