The release you all probably haven't been waiting for.
NOTE: I don't recommend using in worlds that were made with earlier versions, and may cause a crash. I am not responsible for any damage caused by this.
Major changes:
Alchemic chalk, stone, etc, are all obsolete, have been replaced with souls
Alchemic reactions now require catalysts, which are made using souls and materials relevant to their purpose.
Some weak Alchemic reactions can be made using chunks of sorcerers stone and mercury, if you dont want to cough up some more expensive materials.
Minor changes:
Sorcerers stone is now a little harder to get, and the rewards are a LOT less cheaty. i.e. 5 diamonds != a chest and a half of iron ingots.
Added in Pyrometal tools too, which have traits similar to a mix of gold and iron.
Nerfed Terrametal and Gilded Terrametal tools a little.
