spawning now works on a delay which you can config, ussually, entities spawn every 4000 ticks but if you don't like that, you can always customize it to your preference

This mod has a config, You should use the configured mod to find it in the main menu.

What are the entites?

In The Corners adds 43 Entities that will roam your world, stalk, watch and kill you.

What's the entity hierarchy?

Tier one

Tier one entities are known as the stalkers or manipulators. They are basic and easy to understand, hence tier one.

Tier two

Tier two entities are known as the creators, they have sophisticated AI and are almost unpredeictable. They take a player form and are easy to tell apart from normal entities.

Tier three

Tier three entities are known as the entities from the abyss. They serve progression post vainglory and are more complicated to escape and figure out. Like, buffed versions of normal entities.

Tier four

Tier four entities are the bosses of this mod. These include: Speech, Providence, Vainglory and Void. They are the most powerful beings and lore impacted story tellers of the mod.

Tier one - entities

Hide--

Hide likes to play games with you. Hide will either try to convince you to come over to him or he will want to play a game of hide and seek. (you will have to find him.)

Shadow--

You should see shadow as a warning. he poses small threat. he will stand still or walk towards you.

Stalk--

Stalk is an entity simillar to hide's stalking phase. he will dissapear and reappear closer to you.

Glitch--

Glitch may not harm you if he is in his glitching phase, his glitching will be very annoying.

Name.err--

Name.err is completely harmless. It will only try to INFECT your world with err.name.blocks.

Scatter--

Scatter is very dangerous, he will shoot projectiles in all directions. these projectiles will jumpscare you on contact

Anonymous--

Anonymous will speak to you, then he will start chasing you with a piercing scream.

Eyes--

You'll know when eyes is hunting you. A loud sound followed up with a jumpscare will play at whenever time he spawns.

Observe--

Observe will either observe you from a distance, stalk you, or run at you.

Integer--

Integer will play a realistic door knocking noise, and then blare a loud bass sound. Once the bass is over, Integer will spawn near the nearest player and will chase them. On contact, the Integer will transport the player to a new creepy dimension.

Excruciate--

Excruciate is one of the most deadliest entities besides anonymous. Excruciate will black out the screen on spawn and will slowly approach the player.

Watching--

Watching is always watching

Root--

Root is basically name.err but can't move.

Glare--

Glare doesn't like to be looked at, do not stare directly.

Whisper--

Whisper always knows where you are, and is not frightened by your gaze.

Disgrace--

Disgrace will stop and stare with an uncanny twist of her body.

Corrupted--

find.me.in.the.corrupted.chunks.

Lurker--

Wandering in the maze for years.

Trapped--

Trapped in the endlessly twisting pathways.

Tier two - creators

Pseudo--

Pseudo will constantly walk towards you like void does.

Unknown--

Unknown will constantly walk towards you like pseudo does.

Agony--

Agony will constantly walk towards you like pseudo does.

Watcher--

Watcher will act the exact same way agony does, but will transport you to a harder dimension.

Overseer--

Overseer is just like the other creators except he will rapidly run towards you, eventually getting close enough to trigger a chase, like all other entities.

Delusion--

Delusion will constantly walk towards the player, just like all creators. When colliding with Delusion, he will teleport the player in a random spot with a 16x16 radius.

Misfortune--

Misfortune will act like all other creators but when in collision, will constantly damage the player.

Vacant--

Vacant only has a void appearence, and is quite unusual, despite being somewhat common in the abyss era.

Beholder--

Beholder is an interesting entity and he is a little complicated. He will approach you at all times unless in a 5 block radius, he will stop and stare.

Abomination--

???

Tier three - entities from the abyss

Void--

Void will always know where you are. Void will actively walk towards you at any cost but slowly. Trees nearby 5 blocks of void will have their leaves destroyed.

Abyss--

Abyss will act just like void, and he has 2 different behaviours. Both behaviours constantly walk to the player. Behaviour one will jumpscare the player on contact and chase them after. Behaviour two will jumpscare the player, then kick them from the world.

Alternate--

Alternate will act just like stalk, just a little faster.

legacy--

Legacy will act just like void but more unpredictable and fast.

Reverse--

Reverse will act just like anonymous but faster, slimmer and agile.

Shapeshifter--

Shapeshifter lives up to it's name, it will take the form of an ordinary mob just with a tweak to the eyes, also, you may find shapeshifter stalking you.

Stress--

Stress is just like eyes but will restrict gravity.

Despair--

Despair acts like observe but deadlier.

Remorse--

Remorse is a big entity with an ability to summon lightling

Illusion--

Illusion won't kill you, he will have you face your fears.

Manipulate--

Manipulate has a weeping angel kind of effect

Descry--

Descry is like a mini reverse, he will constantly run at full speed towards you.

Controlled--

Contolled will stop and stare at you in a 16 block radius, don't get too close to him.

Tier four - bosses

Speech--

Speech will give you a speech about how this all happened and lore and how this is all your fault in his very own lore dimension, only found by discovering secret ways in via the err blocks or the shadow/soul dimensions.

Vestige--

Vestige is summonable by the player, it is recommended to fight him after beating speech

Vainglory--

Vainglory will come down from the moon, prepared to take you down. Once you stop him, your world is free.

Void--

Void, in his boss phase will tell you whats been the truth all along, confronting you, triggering a semi-cutscene whenever you enter his dimension.

Providence--

Providence malfunctions in the error dimensions. This will make her unstable and unable to keep herself hidden from the player, resulting in the player having to free her from the corruption.

How will i survive?

Tier one - entities

Hide--

You wouldn't want him to be mad. If hide is trying to get you to come to him. Don't listen to him. It is a trick. Avoid looking directly at hide. Hides attack damage is 12.

Shadow--

Shadow won't damage or kill you he is just there to give you a fright. Upon getting to close to shadow, he will jumpscare you. OR shadow will send you to the ERR dimension and give you a garunteed death

Stalk--

Don't go near stalk or he will chase you. Stalk's attack damage is 12.

Glitch--

To stop glitches glitching, you must go over to him and scare him away. Glitch will harm you in his stalking phase which is the same as void's mechanic but no excessive deforestation. You must not go near stalking glitch. His attack damage is 12.

Name.err--

You have to stop the err.name.infection! you must break all the err.name block Name.err places. err.name.blocks will turn ores and valuables into regular err.stone. it will delete anything valuable.

Scatter--

Scatter shoots many projectiles in all directions. these projectiles do around 4 damage ach and will jumpscare you on contact. these projectiles also bounce on contact will the floor.

Anonymous--

Anonymous is very large, he wont fit in small places. Escape into a ditch to avoid him and do it fast, he is very quick. Anonymous will give you five seconds to prepare to run away and hide. Anonymous will hack your screen with a blinding effect just like void does. Anonymous's damage is 12, and he can reach you from further away.

Eyes--

Eyes will rapidly approach you, whilst looking at you. He will approach you at roughly the speed a spider does. When getting to close to eyes, he will jumpscare you, playing a very loud noise, kicking you out of the world. So eyes isn't really a threat, just a threat to your ears. I would recomend getting to a high spot in the world such as a watchtower to keep safe from eyes.

Observe--

Observe isnt harmful, hes just like shadow, disappearing on contact.

Integer--

Integer will constantly chase the player at high speeds, getting to high ground is advised. His dimension isn't too hard to escape, you can either build up to one of the star looking blocks or find one on the ground. Go inside the block and you will be sent back to the overworld.

Excruciate--

Whatever you do, do not approach this entity, get away as fast as possible. When in radius, the entity will pick you up and eat you, obviously leading to instant death.

Watching--

Watching will approach you at a slow pace, once within 50 blocks, you can look at him and he will disappear.

Root--

After getting close to root, run. He will spawn scatter, then either agressive hide or stalk.

Glare--

You cannot directly at her, with an exception of looking at her as long as it isn't directly, which results in her freexing on the spot.

Whisper--

Do not stare at Whisper, as it will teleport behind you and chase you, and do not let it get close to you.

Disgrace--

Disgrace will stop and stare from far away, just dont get too close to her or she will chase you down.

Corrupted--

i'll.always.be.watching.you.

Lurker--

Please don't stare at me.

Trapped--

Leave me alone.

Tier two - creators

Pseudo--

Pseudo is lore related, he doesnt pose a threat. pseudo will kick you on contact sending you a message that can reveal many secrets.

Unknown--

Unknown is lore related, he doesnt pose a threat. Unknown will kick you on contact sending you a message that can reveal many secrets. When you get too close to unknown, he will blind you and walk towards you very swiftly.

Agony--

Agony poses a threat. Agony will teleport you to his chase dimension which is procedurally generated with obstacles you will have to pass to get away from him. Agony's damage is 4. You will be teleported out of his dimension when his chase song ends.

Watcher--

Watcher also poses a threat. Watcher will teleport you to his chase dimension which is procedurally generated with obstacles you will have to pass to get away from him. Instead of having you run one way stright like Agony's dimension, you can run left, right, forward and back. Watcher's damage is 4. You will be teleported out of his dimension when his chase song ends.

Overseer--

Overseer isn't too complicated, its like how anonymous aproaches you rapidly. It's advised to get into a ditch or a high structure to get away from Overseer as he is quite big and fast. Getting to close to Overseer is a big risk of death as he will enrage and chase after you at a very high speed. Overseer's damage is 12.

Delusion--

When teleported, delusion may teleport you into the ground, leaving you suffocating. Always be prepared and don't let your guard down.

Misfortune--

Misfortune will constantly walk to you. Avoid him at all costs as he will damage you on collision, likely, ramaining in your death.

Vacant--

Getting too close to vacant will send you to the vacant rooms. It can be hard to traverse through the vacant rooms and you might even hallucinate, swearing you saw another void creator. To find a way out of the vacant rooms, you will need to find a bright block that will send you back home. The vacant rooms may also appear a red blood tint sometimes which then means Vacant will be seen chasing you throughout the rooms until you die, or find a way out.

Beholder--

Once on contact with this entity, it will spawn a music event and after that, let 2 more seconds pass and then you will have legacy chasing you. Just don't go near Beholder.

Abomination--

avoid_me.

Tier three - entities from the abyss

Void--

Don't get too close to void or he will trigger his chase mode. Void's attack damage is 12.

Abyss--

Just avoid Abyss at all times, whereas he will either kick you or chase you when in 4 blocks radius within his position. Constructing a watchtower will help with getting away from him. Abyss will deal 12 attack damage.

Alternate--

Stay away from Alternate at all costs, as he will rapidly approach you just like stalk does. Alternate's attack damage is 12.

Legacy--

Legacy will rapidly apprach you just like void so stay on the lookout and get up to high ground. Legacy's attack damage is 12.

Reverse--

If you hear a deep reversed voice, don't panic and get somewhere tight or high up in the sky, Reverse is still big and is very fast. Reverse's attack damage is 12.

Shapeshifter--

Shapeshifter will take form of a vanilla mob, their eyes will have a light red colour so it's easy to tell they are wrong. Upon killing these fake mobs, shapeshifter will immediately spawn and chase you.

Stress--

Avoid stress at all costs, even if there is no hope. Stress will never despawn and will always be after you, like a manhunt. Sprinting is just fast enough to outrun him however he breaks any block thats in his way.

Despair--

Do not look at despair otherwise he will become aggressive, instead get as close as you can without making eye contact.

Remorse--

Remorse will either choose to stare at you or stalk you, meaning he will constantly walk towards you. Getting close to remorse when he is staring at you is safe as he will summon lightning, but when he is stalking, he will chase you instead.

Illusion--

Illusion is harmless, he won't stalk, just stare. getting close to him will flash images of liminal spaces with the entity in the background whilst playing a humming bass sound before disappearing when within 5 blocks.

Manipulate--

Manipulate will constantly stalk you at a fast pace however he will stop and stare when looked at, this is like a weeping angel effect.

Descry--

Descry will full speed sprint at you. When you collide with him he will begin to chase you either way. When he spawns, it's basically a chase scene without sound. Get to high ground asap and hope he despawns. Or just run, if you can.

Controlled--

If you chat to controlled by saying abyssal entities' names E.g: "remorse" he'll spread misinformation about them. Getting too close to Controlled will result in him chasing you. If you are still alive when he's done chasing you, he'll snitch to void, then void will also chase you.

Tier four - bosses

Speech--

Speech will not kill you, he will just kick you out of the dimension. While fighting speech in his boss phase, he will summon allies of his own who imitate the looks of the 5 main entities of in the corners. Speech will also fire laser at the players position. Survive until the end of his boss theme and he will give in, dropping his core, which can then be used to summon vainglory.

Vestige--

Vestige has 2 main phases, upon waking him up after summoning him, he will take 48 seconds to charge up into phase 1, during this first charging phase, he will constantly summon mobs for you to fight. In phase 1, Vestige has a small chance to summon lasers and mobs to fight, and once you beat phase 1, he will enter his second charging phase, summoning more mobs for you to fight for 72 seconds. Phase 2 is a stronger form of phase 1, higher chance of lasers, mobs, even dashing at the player.

Vainglory--

Vainglory has a variety of attacks, ranged and melee, there might be more in the future. Always have a shield ready to hold up and block as vainglory is unpredictable and has an average damage of 8. Vainglory can fire lasers just like speech, and he can also fire the same projectiles scatter can in all directions. Vainglory is very tough, with 1000 Health.

Void--

Void has a large variety of attacks, ranging from summoning, decoys, melee and lasers. You must kill off Void and his 4 phases, phases 3 and 4 can only be attacked from ranged weapons. Once killing Void's 4th phase, he will collapse and die, in defeat, therefore, sending you to the lab. Void's dimension is filled with huge fungus and strange obelisks.

Providence--

Providence also has a variety of attacks and isn't like all other bosses where you will have to survive for a certain period. Providence has four unique phases 1 through 4 and they progressively get more complex as they go. Providence's attacks are: Rapid fire, Spikes, Decoys and Melee. In the first phase, Providence can only summon decoys, second: spikes, third: rapid fire, fourth: everything is buffed. Providence will melee attack and lunge at the player at all times. At the last phase, Providence is near impossible to fight so you will just have to survive for around a minute.

How to summon bosses?

Speech--

Summon speech by finding each of his three lore dimensions, then type "speech" into chat. This will transport you to his boss dimension (all his dimensions look the same, Endless white block plains.) There, you can defeat him. Do not forget to retrieve his core.

Vestige--

In order to summon him, you'll need a Charm of Vestige which you can craft by surrounding an orb of disinfection with infected hearts. Once you have the item, right click it and he will spawn at that position after 10 seconds.

Vainglory--

To summon vainglory, you will have to beat speech first. Retrieve speeches core, then find a name.err entity and grab 5 of the virus blocks that spawn beneath it. Once you have 5 virus blocks, gather 4 obsidian and craft the vainglory beacon. The vainglory beacon's recipe should have been unlocked once you had pissed speech off for the third time (going into his third lore dimension.) Place down the vainglory beacon in a flat area or in a pre-built arena. Put speeches core in the beacon, and vainglory will descend from the moon and challenge you to a boss fight. Void--

To summon void, you will need to beat vainglory, then get through voids yapping session after he confronts you after killing vainglory. Then you will need to survive the abyss entites until an altar spawns with a lightning strike. You must click on the altar block to summon the stress entitiy and let him catch you. You will then be teleported to voids domain.

Providence--

To summon providence, you will need to anger her. Angering providence isn't too hard if you know what you are doing, so heres why i'm explaining it. First, type "error.dimension" into chat, then providence will send you to the error dimension. Then type "error.show.yourself" and she will send you to the soul dimension where you will have to find an altar to summon her.

Err.infection

The err.infection will infect your world, you must stop it if you want to keep the nature! you must break any err.infection.name blocks you see so they don't spread. There is a slim chance that a noise will play at a location and a formation of err.blocks will spawn. These shapes will include pillars, cubes and crosses (for now.)

For The Future---

I plan to add more entities to this mod and maybe even random events or just events in general in the near future. Again this mod will require geckolib as always.
