What's new
Immortal Spells 1.1.5
Changes & Features
- ThunderCloud radius is now consistent everywhere: cloud body, formation circle, lightning targeting, and shockwave all share the same radius, locked when casting finishes.
- New cloud timeline: 3s formation → 60s active → 6s dissipation, handled by ThunderCloud Core.
- Lock-on and screen-dimming behaviour for storm spells stays as before.
Performance
- Heavy optimizations for barriers and auras:
- Cheap pre-filter before expensive entity checks.
- Cached class checks and entity lookups.
- Reduced projectile scan range and staggered scan intervals.
- Optimized lightning target pool and lock-on scanning.
- Shield HUD no longer allocates per frame; labels and health text rebuild only when values change.
- Shield rendering now scales with distance – distant shields use fewer layers for better framerates.
Fixes & Compatibility
- Fixed dedicated-server crash by removing client-only class references from common code.
- Fixed self-pin state not clearing properly when switching worlds.
- Enforced version matching between Immortal Spells and ThunderCloud Core.
- Dependency requirement: ThunderCloud Core 1.0.4 or newer is now required (works with 1.0.4 and 1.0.5).
- No changes to spell IDs, config keys, or save data.
Visuals
- New icons for the Ganlu buff (18×18), Qingyuan Huti (128×128), and Huiyuan spell (128×128).
- Reworked
aegis_flowtexture with smoother energy-flow swirls and softer glow. - Improved shield shell layering, animated swirls, and more stable UV handling.
- Ground fog now aligns to the actual terrain height and is hidden in unsupported positions.
- Hit-ring effects skip early when there are no impacts, reducing unnecessary draw calls.
