Immersive Seatbelt — Changelog
Bug Fixes
- Fixed 5-Point Child Safety Harness restriction system not working due to an internal restraint-type mismatch, which caused attack-prevention and Maximum-mode lockdown to silently never trigger
- Fixed unbuckle-permission requests for the Child Safety Harness falling through to the wrong logic path
- Fixed Child Safety Harness textures never rendering — added proper per-mode texture switching (Comfort / Normal / Secure / Maximum)
- Fixed harness mode changes not syncing to other clients, so mode/texture changes weren't visible until now
- Fixed remote menu actions (buckle, lock, unlock, mode changes, type changes) not properly syncing state changes
- Fixed a bug where linking via the Child Parental Remote never registered the parent's ID, causing unbuckle requests to silently bypass mode restrictions instead of notifying the parent
- Fixed players being able to link to both remote systems at once with no warning
- Fixed unlinking a player from a remote not fully clearing their link data, which could prevent them from being re-linked
- Fixed the Player/Vehicle Seatbelt Inspectors and Parental Notification Bell not recognizing the Child Safety Harness, causing it to always display as "Lap Belt" or "None"
- Fixed the Parental Notification Bell almost always reporting "Buckled: Yes" regardless of actual state
- Fixed the Seatbelt Cutter and both Quick Release Pin items not recognizing the Child Safety Harness, allowing it to be bypassed or overwritten outside the remote system
- Fixed the Wrench conflicting with other mods' right-click interactions (e.g. furniture/vehicle mods) by switching it to a dedicated keybind-based action instead of right-click
New Features
- Added cross-remote link detection with clear in-game messaging when a player is already linked to another remote
- Added chat messages describing each Child Safety Harness mode's restrictions when the mode is changed
- Added a notification message to the child when they are linked to a parental remote
- Added an emergency override to the Seatbelt Cutter for the Child Safety Harness, usable if the wearer is on fire, drowning, or at critical health
- Added safeguards preventing Quick Release Pins and the Parental Lock item from overriding a remote-managed restraint
- Streamlined the Child Parental Remote menu (Lap and 5-Point restraint options only)
Notes
- If you notice any unexpected behavior with harness modes, remote linking, or textures after updating, please report it so it can be addressed in a future patch.
