Immersive Railroading Cam transforms your train operations by introducing a dynamic, highly polished camera system inspired by modern simulators like Train Sim World.

This client side addon allows you to break free from the standard first-person view. Whether you want to admire your rolling stock from the outside, set up the perfect trackside screenshot, or fly alongside your consist like a drone this mod gives you total control.

🌟 Key Features & Camera Modes

Press your dedicated Camera Cycle Key (Default: V) to smoothly switch through 6 distinct camera modes while operating your train:

• 1/6 - Default (Cab View): The classic first-person view from the engineer's seat.
• 2/6 - Boom / Chase Cam: An external, trailing camera. Use your mouse to smoothly orbit the train and your scroll wheel to adjust the distance. Features soft interpolation for that premium feel.
• 3/6 - Coupler / Bogie View: A low-angle camera hovering just above the tracks. Perfect for watching the wheels spin and the coupling mechanics in action.
• 4/6 - Smart Fly-by (Cinematic): Drops a stationary camera at the trackside to watch your train pass by. Features intelligent raytracing the camera will automatically find a clear line of sight and avoid spawning behind buildings or mountains. Includes dynamic low-angle, high-angle, and side-tracking variations!
• 5/6 - Relative Drone (With Toggle): A true moving drone mode. The camera locks onto the train's speed, flying alongside it. Press the dedicated Drone Toggle Key (Default: Left Alt) to freely fly around the moving train with WASD/Mouse. Toggle it off to seamlessly return control to the locomotive.
• 6/6 - Smooth Freecam: Completely detach your camera and fly freely around the world while your physical player remains safely seated. Uses double-precision math for buttery smooth and stutter-free movement.

⚙️ Quality of Life & Polish

• In-Game Language Config (English/German): Go to Main Menu → Mods → Immersive Railroading Cam and click the Config button. You can instantly toggle the mod's language between English and German on the fly. No restart required!
• Invisible Hands: Your first-person arm and held items are automatically hidden when using any external camera mode for maximum immersion.
• Clean HUD Overlay: A minimalist UI element at the top of your screen indicates your current camera mode (e.g., Camera: Boom (2/6)).
• High FPS & No Desync: Built entirely client-side. Your physical player entity never leaves the seat, guaranteeing zero server desync and no clipping into the ground.
