🎵 Immersive Melodies Reforged

Immersive Melodies Reforged is an unofficial community port of the original Immersive Melodies, updated to work with Minecraft 26.1.2 on Fabric.

The goal of this project is to preserve the original experience of Immersive Melodies while bringing it to newer versions of Minecraft, allowing players to continue playing instruments, performing songs, and creating musical moments together in multiplayer.

Fabric API may be required depending on the release.

Both the server and players should have the mod installed when using it in multiplayer.

🔨 What is Reforged?

This project is not a completely new mod.

Immersive Melodies Reforged is a maintained port of the original Immersive Melodies created to keep the mod functional on newer Minecraft versions.

Changes made in Reforged are primarily focused on:

• updating Minecraft compatibility;

• updating Fabric APIs;

• repairing outdated systems;

• maintaining multiplayer functionality;

• maintaining instrument rendering and animations;

• maintaining MIDI and ABC functionality;

• fixing compatibility issues introduced by newer Minecraft versions.

Future releases may also contain bug fixes and small quality-of-life improvements.

The original concept, code, assets, instruments, sounds and other original work belong to their respective creators and contributors.
