Immersive Fog adds natural fog to Minecraft 1.20.1. Fog only happens occasionally, slowly rolls in and fades out, and stays clear most of the time. With 10 fog levels, rare heavy fog can make visibility extremely limited.
Immersive Fog
A simple Minecraft 1.20.1 Fabric mod that adds natural fog to the world without making it constant or annoying.
- 🌫️ 75% of days stay clear
- 🌁 Fog events happen about once per Minecraft day
- 📈 Fog gradually gets thicker instead of appearing instantly
- 📉 Fog slowly fades away instead of disappearing instantly
- 🎚️ 10 fog levels, with heavy fog being much rarer
- 👁️ Level 10 gives around 5 blocks of visibility
- 🎮 Manual control with
/immersivefog level 1-10 - 🔄 Check or reset the current fog with
/immersivefog statusand/immersivefog reset
The goal: make fog feel like an actual atmospheric event instead of a random visual effect constantly changing around you.
