What's new

IEDCTR 1.1.64-reconstructed

Corrective release containing the integrated fluid-flow and model-conformity fixes.

Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge 21.1.230 or later · Java 21 · Client and server Required: Immersive Engineering 12.4.2-194 or later. Optional: JEI 19.32.0.359 or later.

Corrections

  • Fixed natural non-water currents entering Steel Catwalk Stairs. Water, lava, IE creosote and IE ethanol are covered by automated flow/control comparisons. Supported neighboring fluid cells receive ticks after attachment changes so consecutive stairs can drain after their source is removed. Source-only bucket insertion and existing geometry remain intact.
  • Restored the original Engineer's Tools models, UVs and display transforms for Diving Capsule, Material Box and Muslee Bar Press. Restored Crushing Hammer's handheld parent and its original hand transforms; existing main textures are unchanged.
  • Restored the Tracker body and rotating pointer renderer, its auxiliary models and textures. The original renderer intentionally draws nothing in either first-person hand context; that behavior is preserved. Target data, saved-data format and functional Tracker logic are unchanged.

Included since the last public CurseForge version, 1.1.58

  • Native fluid cells for supported standard world fluids on the existing decorative opt-ins, with synchronization, ticking and native/Embeddium rendering checks; machine tanks and Passive Fluid Accumulator contracts are preserved.
  • Corrected exterior-fluid sampling for lava and fluid surface heights, including the optional Embeddium path.
  • Sleeping Bag rest requires a lit vanilla campfire in one of the eight adjacent horizontal cells. Updated hemp-based Sleeping Bag and Material Box recipes; filled or modified IE crates are rejected so stored contents are not consumed.
  • Metal Sliding Door sound broadcasts include the initiating player while preserving paired-door, redstone and event behavior.

Validation and limits

  • Exact main commit: 98d15a3f89b4e4bf889ab2f77792ed7f31b2469f.
  • GitHub Actions Build 39735694959: all seven jobs passed, including all 539 required GameTests. The suite includes six stair-flow/bucket regression tests; 539 is the total, not the number of newly added tests.
  • Static checks verify complete original model data, texture hashes and runtime JAR packaging. Tracker checks include five math tests and thirteen client render-path cases in the checked client execution.
  • The existing local build passed 119 JUnit tests and produces the same JAR hash as CI. It was not rebuilt for this publication preflight.
  • On 2026-10-22, the user explicitly confirmed testing version 1.1.64 in Prism and reported that the models, liquid flow and source removal were correct. This is user-reported acceptance: dot did not execute or capture those Windows visual tests. The runtime log also records this version loading and an integrated server starting; it does not contain a per-session JAR hash.
  • Known pre-existing issue: the IE manual preview may log a fluidpipe/light_engineering block-entity mismatch while the IEDCTR tooltip triggers indexing. The same error was present with 1.1.63 before the model/fluid fixes. Both observed sessions skipped the invalid preview entity and completed the manual reload (211/212 ms); no client crash or regression from #89-91 is demonstrated. The source of the inconsistent preview data remains undetermined.
  • Muslee reserve/capture foundations remain inactive. This release does not activate or advertise them as playable features. No exhaustive modpack-compatibility claim is made.
