Overview

This mod centers on the theme of “Dreams” and provides a complete progression path from mortal to “Dream Angel” for Minecraft

Players begin with an ordinary sleep, travel between different dream modes, experience combat, exploration, and crafting, collect Dream Fragments, and forge weapons that embody the essences of different dreams. Every entry into a dream is a reshaping of the soul.

Every swing of the blade is a battle of wills against nightmares. And every reincarnation brings you one step closer to that ultimate question.

If dreams are destined to fade, where then shall all living beings return?

This mod adds 9 Dream Blades, 28 SEs, and 9 SAs.

Each Dream Blade has its own energy system, resource loop, and combat rhythm, encouraging players to deeply understand the mechanics of each weapon.

Acquisition Methods

When a player falls asleep for the first time, they can obtain “Shattered Dream,” and use it as a foundation to gradually unlock the complete Dream Blade crafting chain.

The currently known acquisition methods are as follows:

• Kill Phantoms to obtain Nightmare Fragments;

• Sleep while carrying Anonymity -Nameless- to obtain the mod’s basic blade, Dream Slashblade

• Defeat vanilla bosses such as the Wither and Ender Dragon;

• Complete specific crafting rituals.

Sources of Inspiration

The thematic inspiration for this mod comes partly from the haiku in Blade of the Immortal:

“As if unaware it is a dream, the drifting one chases phantoms, forsaking friends and others.”

This line depicts the state of someone immersed in dreams and escaping reality. The mod uses “dreams” as its core imagery and builds its progression path around elements such as Dream Blades and Dream Fragments.
