Gravity Gun 1.0.0 📦

🟢 Changelog:

  • Visual Lightning: Recreated the Gravity Gun beam effects from scratch to exactly match the look and feel of the original mod.

  • Audio Loop: Overhauled the sound looping system while holding objects to replicate the original mod's behavior.

  • Visual Recoil: Added dynamic weapon and arm kickback animations upon firing for a more impactful impact feel.

  • Mid-Air Catching: Implemented the ability to recapture launched blocks while they are still flying through the air.

  • Adaptive Claw Mechanics: Adjusted the claw opening system with dual timing thresholds:

    • Normal Opening: Takes 9 ticks under standard conditions.

    • Urgent Opening: Accelerates to 3 ticks if the targeted object is actively falling.

  • Physics Tracking: Improved the visual and physical positioning of held blocks to make them move more naturally alongside the player.

  • Contextual Drop Impulse: Added the missing Right-Click drop mechanic, featuring contextual momentum inspired by Half-Life 2 and the original mod.

  • Block Rotation Physics: Thrown blocks now continue to rotate properly mid-air, whereas dropping them via Right-Click prevents rotation.

  • Orientation Retention: Catching a flying block mid-air now preserves its exact orientation from the moment it was grabbed.

  • Smoother Transitions: Softened block placement physics; dropping an object no longer forces an abrupt, jarring alignment change.

  • Config Menu Overhaul: Redesigned the visual layout of the configuration menu.

  • Custom Force Parameters: Added new configuration options to manually adjust the launch force for both the standard and Supercharged Gravity Guns.
