Hud ModList

A clean decorative mods-list HUD for the right side of your screen: 8 styles, title size, sorting, renaming, scoreboard-safe. No cheats.

HUD Mod List

A clean, configurable mods list HUD for the right side of your screen — the look you know from HUD mods, but purely decorative: it only reads the mod list Forge already loaded. No cheat features, no networking, client-side only.

Features

  • 8 visual styles — Classic, Minimal, Glass, Neon, Rainbow, Outline, Boxed, Terminal
  • Title — custom text, size (0.5×–2×), one-click show/hide
  • Entries — show/hide any mod, rename entries, add your own custom lines, delete them again
  • Sorting — A–Z, by name length (longest first, gives a neat staircase), Forge load order, or manual with ↑/↓ — plus a reverse toggle
  • Alignment — auto (hugs whichever screen edge the HUD sits on), left, center, right. Accent bars and the title bar mirror accordingly
  • Position — left/right side, X/Y offsets, scale, background opacity; drag the live preview or scroll to fine-tune
  • Scoreboard friendly — the vanilla sidebar scoreboard can be automatically moved out of the way (left of the list, below it, or drawn on top) instead of being covered, with X/Y nudging
  • Text shadow, slide-in animation, hide while F3 is open, master on/off switch

How to open the menu

Press Right Shift to open the settings screen (changeable in Options → Controls → HUD Mod List). There is also a second, unbound key that toggles the HUD instantly.

Configuration

Everything lives in config/hudmodlist.json — plain JSON, editable by hand. If it ever gets corrupted it is backed up to .bak and defaults are used, so the game never breaks because of a bad config.

Notes

  • Client-side only: nothing is sent to the server and no player behaviour is modified.
  • Works alongside OptiFine and other HUD mods. The list is drawn after the vanilla HUD, so it can overlap other right-side HUDs — position, scale and per-entry visibility are all adjustable, and there is a "hide on F3" option.
  • Minecraft 1.8.9 / Forge only.

Others

About 90% of the content in this mod was done entirely by deepseek (AI).I'm in charge of eating
This mod is developed to provide HUD visuals similar to a hacked client. (It doesn't include any cheating features)
Deepseek v4.1 is so fast that it finished writing in just over an hour~~, but that's also how fast my money disappears~~
Deepseek wrote a lot of card-style lists (like the classic style). Are there really cheat clients like this?
But overall, I'm still pretty satisfied.
I plan to add a custom style feature later; maybe it's a good idea.
