Huaxia Delight

Huaxia Delight is a Chinese cuisine expansion for Farmer’s Delight on Minecraft 1.21.1. It adds Chinese ingredients, seasonings, crops, cooking stations, regional dishes, and optional integration with Butchercraft.

The mod currently includes 72 items, 5 crops, and 71 recipes.

Features

• Chinese ingredients and seasonings, including tofu, soy sauce, rice vinegar, cooking oil, flour, chili oil, and cooking wine.
• Five crops: chili, soybean, ginger, garlic, and scallion.
• Chinese dishes such as red-braised pork, twice-cooked pork, mapo tofu, scallion beef, moo shu pork, scallion eggs, dan dan noodles, dumplings, steamed buns, Beijing Luzhu, and Baoding donkey meat huoshao.
• Iron Wok for stir-fried dishes.
• Brewing Barrel for producing cooking wine from rice, water, and glass bottles.
• Recipe menus for the Iron Wok and Brewing Barrel, with currently craftable recipes displayed first.
• Manual stir-frying: hold a Spatula and right-click the Iron Wok to stir. Most stir-fried recipes require six effective stirs.
• Animated wok tossing during stir-frying.
• Spatula enchantment support for Unbreaking, Mending, Knockback, and Fortune.
• Fortune can provide an additional finished dish when an extra bowl is available.
• Meat dishes prepared with cooking wine provide Regeneration I for 8 seconds.
• Optional Butchercraft integration for tripe, lung, liver, kidney, intestine, and other butchery ingredients.

Requirements

• Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1.
• NeoForge 21.1.192 or newer in the 21.1 branch, below 21.2.
• Farmer’s Delight 1.2.9 or newer, below 1.4.
• Java 21.

Farmer’s Delight is required on both the client and server.

Optional Compatibility

• Butchercraft 2.6.5 or newer, below 2.7.
• JEI 19.21.2.313 for recipe viewing.
• Create can be installed alongside Huaxia Delight, but it is not required and is not a dependency.

Installation

Install NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1, place Huaxia Delight and Farmer’s Delight in the mods folder, and launch the game. For multiplayer, install the same Huaxia Delight version on both the client and the server.
