Use a Smithing Table with a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template and a Netherite Ingot to upgrade a Diamond Scythe to a Netherite Scythe.

Coal split 8 ways, smelts 1 item only, useful for saving fuel.
Scythes
A sharpened hoe, right-clicking a fully grown crop will harvest a certain amount of connected fully grown crops. Wooden scythes harvest 5 connected crops, 8 for stone, 10 for copper and golden scythes, 16 for iron, 20 for diamond, and 40 for netherite scythes.

A portable crafting table, uses up durability to craft items but luckily can be enchanted with unbreaking and mending.
Faster leaf decay
When the hotchpotch:fast_leaf_decay game-rule is enabled, leaf blocks will decay more quickly.
