hostile-humans-unified-1.20.1-3.5.0.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
- Adds a Better Combat option for soldiers, enabled by default. When Better Combat is installed, soldiers read weapon range, attack shape, and cooldown, and can hit multiple targets within an attack. Without it, they fall back to this mod's combat logic.
- Improves Better Combat attack animations so the soldier's body, armor, and held weapon move continuously with the attack. Two-handed weapons support both attack animations and an idle pose.
- Improves TaCZ gunner aiming, firing, and reloading animations and reload sounds. Firing alignment is adjusted to keep guns pointed at the target.
- After prolonged loss of sight with the target more than 10 blocks away, gunners temporarily relax their preferred range to approach or flank for a firing lane. Brief occlusion does not trigger this behavior, and normal spacing resumes once the target is visible.
- Distinguishes shield switching from actual breakage; vanilla armor and tool break sounds play only when the corresponding item really breaks.
- Melee spacing reads the current weapon's attack reach: Better Combat weapon range when installed, or Forge's entity-reach attribute otherwise. Humans can step backward while facing their target to adjust distance.
- Fixes durability loss for hired humans' melee weapons. Durability enchantments apply to weapons and armor. Hired soldiers now share an armor-wear cooldown across the full armor set to reduce durability loss under rapid attacks.
- Improves compatibility with player-animation resource packs: Better Combat and TaCZ combat animations take priority during their corresponding actions, while resource-pack animations remain available in other states.
