Give your trusty steed the upgrade it deserves with Horseshoes! This mod introduces a new equipment slot for all horse-like creatures, allowing you to equip one of four tiers of horseshoes, Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Netherite, to boost their speed and armor.

This mod also seamlessly integrates Netherite Horse Armor into the game.

Key Features

New Equipment Slot: A dedicated slot in the horse inventory lets you equip your steed with powerful horseshoes.

Enchant Your Ride: For the first time, you can enchant your gear!

• Horse Armor can be combined with Protection, Fire Protection, Blast Protection, and Projectile Protection.
• Horseshoes can be combined with boot-specific enchantments like Feather Falling, Depth Strider, Soul Speed, and Frost Walker.

Enchanted horse armor and horseshoes will shimmer with the iconic purple glint, so you can show off your powerful gear.

Additionally, you can find horseshoes in loot chests and villager trades, just as you would with vanilla gear.

*Horse Armor and Horseshoes keep enchantments when upgrading.

Config

You can change the speed and armor values for each horseshoe type, and individually enable or disable enchanting and the glint effect for both horse armor and horseshoes.
