How to use GPS:
You need to craft yourself GPS item. Then press NUM1, while holding GPS in hand. If you don't have numeric keyboard, go to Options -> Controls and there set it to other key. When you hold GPS in your hand, you can enable/disable it. Then you can throw it away. If you want to make changes ( enable or disable it ) you need to have GPS in your hand. It's all. To disable GPS press NUM0, or other key you set.
