Horror Banshee

A woman stands alone between the trees. She looks harmless. Then her face changes—for the blink of an eye.

Horror Banshee brings an unsettling encounter to Minecraft, with human disguises, sobbing, frantic movement, and a scream before the hunt.

A harmless face. A terrifying reveal.

Right-click her, strike her, or keep your crosshair on her for more than five seconds to trigger the encounter.

She begins to cry and runs increasingly fast, briefly flickering between her human and monstrous appearances. When her final transformation ends and the scream fades, the chase begins.

Meet the Matriarch

Among the Banshees, a rare woman wears a layered gothic gown. Her transformation reveals the Matriarch: a powerful enemy with 160 health, a boss bar, and low-flying attacks.

During her scream, she rises above the ground and unleashes a force that pushes nearby creatures away.

Explore the haunted wilderness

• Three human disguises, each keeping its recognizable outfit after transformation.
• Haunted stretches of taiga, with gradually thickening fog and rare whispers, singing, and distant sobbing.
• The Banshee Crypt, a rare structure hidden in a mountainside near water, inhabited by three seated women.
• Original voices and animations, including a victory laugh when a Banshee kills a player.

Claim their powers

Collect Banshee Tears, sometimes shed during their frantic runs, and seek rare rewards after combat.

• Banshee Potion: transform for 10 seconds and run at tremendous speed.
• Enchanted Banshee Potion: take the Matriarch’s appearance and gain Strength I and Regeneration I for 10 seconds.
• Banshee Life Essence: a reusable relic that grants the Matriarch’s appearance and slow flight once per night, until dawn or voluntary cancellation.

Player transformations include sobbing, darkened screen edges, and a temporary third-person perspective.

• NeoForge 21.1.256 or a compatible later 21.1 version
• Java 21
• GeckoLib 4.9.3 or a compatible later 4.x version for NeoForge 1.21.1
• Install Horror Banshee and GeckoLib on both the client and server.
