More playtest feedback implemented this update:

  • Vengeful Spirit/Desolate Dive nerfed to not ignore total protection levels (the sum of all the levels of protection on a player's armor) under 16. Provides some counterplay to vengeful spirit spam in PvP by simply taking off one piece of armor.
  • Added an item players can use in order to reduce non-physical damage taken by 25% for 1 minute.
  • Fixed a bug that caused end cities to not include loot specific to this origin.


All playtest feedback:

- You now heal to full after sleeping in a bed (bench).
- Desolate Dive was listed as Vengeful Spirit in the description.
- Shade cloak iframes should be independent from the mothwing cloak dash like in the original game (turns out that 0.5s of iframes on a 0.6s cooldown is too good, who could have seen that one coming).
- AoE pogo no longer generates extra soul when it shouldn't.
- Added a cue to visualize the duration of Shade Cloak's invincibility frames.
- Added visual and a sound cues to better notice the availability of Shade Cloak.
- Hiveblood requires 1 less charm notch to equip, takes half as much time to provide regeneration, and greatly improves regeneration while on a bed.
- Implemented UI changes for Joni's Blessing and Hiveblood.
- Added a particle effect while regenerating to let other players know you have Hiveblood equipped.
