Hiccup's Legacy 1.4.0 Changelog


New Features

  • Tameable Baby Dragons: - Baby Whispering Deaths can now be tamed and raised by players. - The eggs of Whispering Deaths are obtainable by RNG when killing it.

  • Dragon Behavior Improvements: - Flying dragons now follow their owners when tamed and commanded. - Night Terrors now fly and walk following the closest leader, adding a more immersive pack behavior. - Speed Stingers gained the ability to walk on water, making them more unique and true to their lore.

  • New Dragons: - Introduced Night Lights. - Night Lights cannot be found naturally, they are created by the player when breeding a Light Fury with a Night Fury.


Gameplay Changes

  • Taming Overhaul: - Taming dragons now requires more food, depending on random attributes and if they are a baby or not, making the process more diverse and hatching babies have a benefit.

  • Inferno Sword Upgrade: - Now uses a gas canister besides the gel canister, enabling it to cast Zippleback gas clouds.


Visual & Combat Enhancements

  • New Animations: - All dragons received brand new animations.

  • Red Death Overhaul: - Improved hitbox, bossfight mechanics, animations, and attacks. - Roars now shake the screen of nearby players.


Code & Performance

  • Continued refinements to the codebase with various fixes and smaller improvements, enhancing stability and gameplay consistency.
