Herobrine: Recrafted — 1.1.0 Subjugation Update
Version 1.1.0 introduces Subjugation: Herobrine can seize nearby creatures, bend them to his will and turn them against players. This release also includes the summoning, arena and multiplayer improvements developed in the preceding 1.0.0 builds.
NEW MECHANIC: SUBJUGATION
- Added a new attack available throughout all three boss phases.
- Herobrine lifts nearby creatures into the air, binds them with white light and commands them to attack.
- Capture range is 16 blocks, increasing to 20 blocks in phase III.
- Up to six creatures can be controlled at once by default.
- Interrupting the capture with a stagger or phase transition releases its victims.
- When no suitable creatures are nearby, Herobrine can pull reinforcements through white rifts.
CONTROLLED CREATURES
- Supports ordinary vanilla mobs and eligible mobs from other mods.
- Boss-tagged creatures, the Warden, Wither, Ender Dragon, Elder Guardians and Herobrine's own entities are excluded.
- Tamed and named creatures are protected by default.
- Controlled creatures gain increased health, movement speed, damage, knockback resistance and gradual regeneration.
- They attack players without targeting Herobrine or one another.
- Sunlight burning, fall damage and selected transformations are suppressed while controlled.
- Trading, leashing and saddling are disabled during control.
- Existing world creatures are released when control ends.
- Rift-created creatures dissolve into white ash and provide no loot.
- Control state persists through saving and reloading.
CREATURE-SPECIFIC ATTACKS
- Passive creatures receive combat behaviors suited to their type: charging, leaping, grabbing, diving or swimming through the air.
- Mobs with native combat behaviors retain their attacks.
- Added special abilities including skeleton arrow volleys, zombie lunges, spider leaps with temporary webs and Enderman flanking teleports.
- Added blinding chicken projectiles, villager rally cries, llama spit bursts and other creature-specific reactions.
- Controlled Creepers can become charged.
SUBJUGATION PRESENTATION
- Added a dedicated capture-and-command animation.
- Added glowing white eyes positioned using the creature's model where supported.
- Added capture trembling, light tethers, pursuit movement, sudden lunges and white-ash trails.
- Added release and death effects.
- Added an advancement for defeating a controlled creature.
SUMMONING AND ARENA IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDED
- Reworked summoning so the altar is dismantled through telekinesis, leaving a scorched ritual scar.
- Altar materials are returned after the encounter or an interrupted summon.
- Added the Threshold arena for phases I and II, followed by the throne arena in phase III.
- Added a new emergence sequence: Herobrine rises from the altar, leaps upward and lands with a fist strike.
- Expanded the Threshold with graves, ruins, soul lights and floating fragments of other worlds.
- Added phase-driven arena changes, orbiting stones, collapsing debris and warned stone impacts.
- Added protection against void falls and prolonged pillar camping.
- Improved the throne island and Abyss with additional architecture, lighting and environmental effects.
PHASE III AND TOTEM FIXES
- Herobrine remains on the throne until all four seals are broken.
- Reflected projectiles no longer incorrectly force him out of the throne sequence.
- Missing seals are restored rather than counted as defeated.
- Breaking the final seal triggers the throne's destruction sequence and releases Herobrine into combat.
- Fixed totem interception and removal, including remaining inventory, offhand and cursor-held totems.
- Fixed conflicts when a second held totem attempted to activate during the theft scene.
MULTIPLAYER AND PERSISTENCE
- Prevented overlapping arena sessions from replacing an active encounter.
- Added threat-based targeting and clearer target-switch feedback.
- Improved attack and summoned-enemy distribution across participants.
- Added configurable arena rejoining after respawn and recovery of arena death drops.
- Improved reward delivery for dead or disconnected participants.
- Improved safe return locations, encounter cleanup and persistence.
- Fixed stale Abyss records incorrectly sending players into an old run or blocking totem scenes.
AUDIO AND EFFECT FIXES
- Fixed vanilla background music overlapping Herobrine's soundtrack.
- Fixed the Removed music disc disappearing when inserted into a jukebox.
- Corrected the disc's playback duration and positional audio.
- Fixed summoning and Threshold effects being skipped by incorrect packet handling.
- Improved cinematic timing, impact frames, ritual cracks and arena transitions.
CONFIGURATION
- Added subjugation options for enabling the mechanic, maximum controlled creatures, attack damage, pet capture, rift reinforcements, spider webs and charged Creepers.
- Added configurable Threshold summoning, altar consumption and living-arena effects.
COMPATIBILITY
- Herobrine's established model and texture are preserved.
- Minecraft 1.20.1.
- Forge 47.4.10+ within the 47.x series.
