Here Be Doodles - Changelog

1.0.0 (Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge)

Doodles in hand, and the territory map returns.

  • The in-hand atlas preview now shows your doodles. Just HOLDING the atlas, with no need to open the book, draws your marks on the little minimap over the same terrain, so you can sketch a route in the book and then walk it map-in-hand.
  • War 'n Nobility integration (optional). When War 'n Nobility is installed, the atlas draws its colony, county, duchy, kingdom and Easy Factions borders, their heraldic seat markers and names, on BOTH the open book and the in-hand preview. A "Domains" legend on the book's right edge toggles each layer. This restores the territory map War 'n Nobility itself dropped when it went war-frame-only. It is read fail-soft by reflection: with no War 'n Nobility present, nothing changes and the doodle kit is exactly the same.
  • Still a pure client mod: no server, network or save-format changes, it works on any server (vanilla included), and doodles from 0.1.0 are kept.

0.1.0 (Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge)

The first release: draw anything on your Antique Atlas.

Born as War 'n Nobility's atlas layer and split out into its own standalone client mod, so it works on any server, with or without the Warborn stack.

  • Doodle kit on the Antique Atlas 8 book screen: freehand pen, line, arrow, box, circle, text labels and an eraser, in eight ink colours and six brush sizes, with undo (Ctrl+Z) and clear on a collapsible toolbar.
  • Marks are stored in world coordinates, so they stay glued to the terrain they were drawn over while the map pans and zooms.
  • Saved locally per world and per dimension (client-side only; nothing is sent to the server, and servers do not need the mod).
  • Experimental "big book" mode (config: bigBook, OFF by default): grows the atlas book to fill the window, Antique Atlas 4 style.
