🌿 Herbal Overhaul — Lightweight Medical Herb Expansion for Minecraft

Herbal Overhaul introduces a selection of consumable medical herbs into the Minecraft world, each offering unique utility-focused effects while preserving overall game balance. Kill zombies to get herb seeds! 1/120 drop chance per seed.

To consume herbs or oil, place the smoking device in your off-hand and hold right click with the smokable item in your main hand.

Just Enough Items is recommended for viewing recipes.

KubeJS is recommended for modpack developers to make herb and oil processing more complex. (everything is very basic and vanilla friendly by default.)

🔧 Configurable and Balance-Friendly

This mod includes configurable settings for effect durations, allowing modpack creators to fine-tune herbal effects to suit their environment.

Dried herbs offer short-term effects by default.

Extracted oils grant double the effect duration of dried herbs.

Effects are intentionally kept mild to complement, not replace, potions and other effect-based items.

Sell your product to farmer villagers to make an easy profit from your farm.

🌱 Cultivation & Harvesting

Herbs feature 6 growth stages and mature over time.

Compatible with bonemeal for accelerated growth.

Includes right-click harvesting functionality.

Includes Jade integration for crop growth stages.

Crops work on Mystical Agriculture soil. (possibly other mods soil too. depends on how the modded soil handles crop logic.)

Each herb strain provides a unique gameplay effect when consumed:

Blue Dream Herbs – Grants Speed.

Lemon Haze Herbs – Grants Haste.

Girl Scout Cookies Herbs – Grants Regeneration.

White Widow Herbs – Grants Night Vision.
