Heliocentric is a Minecraft mod that adds navigation and measurement-based tools. Inspired mainly be old sailor navigation, all the tools in Heliocentric have practical uses.
This mod is recommended if the F3 Menu is disabled.
Heliocentric adds the following items:
- Altimeter, for altitude measurement
- Watch, for in-game time reading
- Altazimuth, for celestial readings
- Sextant, for X and Z reading
- Astrolabe, for player distance from world spawn
- Cross-Staff, for angular altitude reading
- Adilade, for direct height measurement when looking at a far-off block
- Clinometer, for direct distance measurement when looking at a far-off block
- Atlas, for storing maps
- Plumb Line, for depth measurement
- Navigational Compass, for true north
