Description

Villages that look like a good builder made them.
Hearthstead rebuilds every vanilla village from scratch for the plains, desert, savanna, taiga and snowy biomes. Each one is a real little town: a central plaza with a fountain or covered well and the village bell, winding streets with lamp posts, fenced farms with water channels and scarecrows, a stone smithy and 8 kinds of homes.

- Timber-framed houses with sloped roofs and overhanging eaves, exposed beams, framed doors and window shutters
- Window boxes, flower beds, hedges and garden trees around every home
- Furnished interiors: beds with nightstands, tables and chairs, rugs, hanging lanterns, fireplaces, bookshelves, chests with village loot
- Paths with natural variation (gravel, coarse dirt, sandstone...) and plank bridges over water

White-plaster timber cottages with sloped roofs, overhanging eaves and flower boxes under the windows.

Flat-roofed sandstone houses with wooden vigas, surrounded by palm trees.

Warm mud-brick homes with hip roofs.

Steep dark-oak roofs and timber frames, built for the cold forest.

Slate roofs and spruce hedges under the snow.

- 100% vanilla blocks - no new textures or models; the whole mod is under 1 MB
- Villagers, professions (every job site block is there), iron golems, cats, trading and raids all work as usual
- Uses the vanilla village spots and ids:
/locate structure minecraft:village_plainsfinds them, and other mods keep working - Only new chunks get the new villages - safe to add to an existing world
