Overview

HCT Collectibles is a highly modular, lightweight backend framework designed to introduce custom, collectible arcade-style figures into the Minecraft ecosystem. By separating data-driven logic from asset rendering, this mod allows server administrators and creators to deploy custom-modeled collectibles without bloat or hardcoded restrictions.

Attribution & Inspiration

This project was creatively inspired by the collectible mechanics featured on Season 2 of the Just Create SMP, originally conceptualized by FoxyNoTail. This mod is an independent development effort built completely from scratch to offer a modular framework for the community.

Framework Architecture

The system operates using a streamlined, three-part modular delivery system:

The Core Framework (This Mod): Establishes the underlying Java code registries, NBT identifiers, and structural hooks required to recognize custom data predicates.
The Core Data Engine: Controls the server-side injection logic, dynamically distributing figures into vanilla Monster Spawner Dungeons and Trial Chamber Reward Vaults.
The Visual Assets Pack: Handles all client-side geometry, custom 3D models, and display box texture mapping.

Extensibility & Customization

The default data and resource packs provided with this release serve as fully functional deployment examples. The framework is inherently extensible, allowing users to easily modify the existing codebase, add custom NBT parameters, or map entirely new community-driven figures. Future updates will expand the core registry to include dedicated base models for iconic vanilla mobs.
