HBM's Nuclear Tech: Unofficial NeoForge Edition (1.21.1)
HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod focuses on technology, industrial-scale automation, atomic science, dangerous materials, and devastating weaponry.
This is an unofficial community-driven port of HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod for Minecraft 1.21.1, built on NeoForge.
The project is currently in Beta. Its core industrial systems are playable, while more content from the original mod and Community Edition continues to be ported and refined.
Key Features
- Industrial Machinery: Assembly Machine, Press, Blast Furnace, Soldering Station, HBM Anvils, Oil Refinery, Industrial Combustion Engine, and additional processing machines.
- Anvil Progression: Tier-based Iron and Steel Anvils with multi-input construction recipes and JEI integration.
- Power Generation: Fuel-powered industrial energy generation, configurable machine operation, and cable connections.
- Fluid System: Universal Fluid Ducts, fluid filtering, Multi Fluid Identifier, tanks, barrels, dynamic fluid coloring, and Infinite Fluid Barrel support.
- Advanced Material Processing: Steel, Red Copper, plates, welded plates, dense wires, circuits, coils, briquettes, fuels, and other classic HBM materials.
- Radiation and Protection: Radioactive materials, radiation shielding, reinforced glass, Hazmat-related materials, and additional hazard mechanics.
- Classic HBM Assets: Original-style textures, models, GUIs, recipes, sounds, and machine behavior adapted for modern Minecraft.
- Decorative and Industrial Blocks: Steel scaffolding, reinforced glass, cage lamps, industrial doors, laboratory blocks, and more.
- Localization: English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
Development Status
The mod has entered Beta. Early and mid-game industrial progression is available, and the existing systems are being tested, balanced, optimized, and expanded.
Some late-game systems from the original HBM Nuclear Tech Mod are still under development.
What Is Planned?
Development continues on additional systems from the original mod and Community Edition, including:
- Nuclear Reactors: Zirnox, RBMK reactors, research reactors, fusion systems, fuel processing, and enrichment.
- Ballistic Systems: Missiles, launch platforms, automated turrets, and high-tier weapon systems.
- Advanced Industry: Chemical processing, additional machines, expanded power systems, larger fluid networks, and further automation.
- Advanced Equipment: Hazmat suits, heavy armor, specialized tools, and radiation protection equipment.
- Environmental Systems: Industrial pollution and additional world effects may be added in a future update.
Important Disclaimer
This project is currently in Beta.
A large part of the original mod must be rewritten or adapted for modern Minecraft, NeoForge, modern rendering, networking, and data-driven systems.
- Survival Ready? Partially. Early and mid-game industrial progression is playable, but some late-game content is still being ported.
- Recipe Viewers: JEI is highly recommended, especially for custom Anvil and machine recipes.
- World Compatibility: Beta updates may occasionally require migration or introduce compatibility changes.
- Bugs: Visual problems, incomplete mechanics, missing recipes, balancing issues, and crashes may still occur. Please report problems through GitHub Issues.
