With this addon, you no longer need to manually run back and forth between your storage system and HBM machines. Select a recipe in a supported HBM machine, connect it to your Refined Storage network, and the required ingredients will be pulled from storage automatically.

This mod does not generate items. It only transfers existing items from the connected Refined Storage network.

This update expands the addon beyond cable-based connections and adds a new wireless automation option.

• New block: Wireless Item Transmitter

• Wireless item transfer between Refined Storage networks and HBM machines

• Two operating modes:

  • Input Mode: sends missing recipe ingredients from the RS network into the machine

  • Input + Output Mode: sends missing ingredients and extracts crafted output back into the RS network

• Colored tip indicator for the current mode

• Compact vertical pipe-like transmitter model

• Support for multiple wireless transmitters working at the same time

• Improved compatibility with HBM Community Edition and HBM Extended Edition

Machine Support

The addon supports recipe autofill for known HBM machines such as:

• Assembly Machine

• Chemical Plant

It also includes automatic support for HBM machines that use standard HBM recipe modules. For other HBM machines, the addon can extract finished outputs into Refined Storage when the machine allows automated item extraction.

How It Works

You can use regular Refined Storage cables for direct connections, or place Wireless Item Transmitters to avoid running cables across your base.

Place one transmitter near your Refined Storage network, then place another near an HBM machine. The machine-side transmitter will bind to the nearby machine and begin transferring items. If you want to bind it to another machine, break and place it again near the new target.

Each transfer operation uses a small amount of energy from the Refined Storage network.

• Fixed output extraction not working in Input + Output Mode

You can switch the Wireless Item Transmitter mode by right-clicking it.

In Input + Output Mode, the transmitter can also move finished items from HBM machines back into your Refined Storage network. For example, if your Chemical Plant produces Polymer, you can enable this mode and the finished Polymer will be extracted from the machine and appear in your RS storage automatically.
