INSTALLATION

‼️ The mod’s animations and models are based on GeckoLib — the mod will not run without it!

🔍 Highly recommended: install JEI to easily explore recipes and mechanics.

🔨 BASE MECHANICS

🧐 When you spawn into the world and open your inventory, you’ll notice a strange new bar — your “Nectar Tank.”
You’ll feel like some kind of hybrid between a bee and a plant, carrying nectar inside you.

💦 Your nectar fully regenerates over the course of one in-game day.

☝️ When your nectar is full, you can “harvest” it:
Press Shift + ↑ while aiming at a block.

Carefully extract the nectar — if done correctly, you’ll create a small puddle of nectar.

You can collect it using:

a can, or
a jar, depending on your progression.

😋 Consuming raw nectar from the ground carries a very high risk of infection, so it’s strongly recommended to craft a simple sand-based filter, which significantly reduces the chance of getting infected.

🧙‍♂️ If you avoid harvesting and don’t die for 3 days, you gain “Abstinence I”, granting useful buffs.

Progress further along this “pure” path to earn the title of “Keeper”, unlocking a powerful ability!

⚡️ ENERGY

At the start of the game, you have access to one kinetic energy source:
Kinetic Life Crusher

Stand with your back to the machine and begin transferring your life energy by repeatedly pressing Shift.

⚠️ Early-game energy generation is intentionally slow and demanding — expect it to be a struggle.

It is compatible with any mod that uses FE/RF energy systems.

All other machines in this mod can also be powered by any external FE/RF energy sources.

😷 INFECTION

You should always be prepared with a chain of machines and chemical processing setups — unless you want to suffer for nearly an hour of in-game time with severe negative effects and no way to cure them! :)

Use JEI to study vaccine recipes and stay prepared — infection can strike at the most unexpected moment!

🍔 FOOD

This mod allows you to literally produce food from yourself through a chain of machines:

From:

Nectar Centrifuge

To:

Protein Former, which converts processed nectar into steaks.

(After all, you’re basically a nectar-carrying organism.)

This makes it a perfectly balanced food source in harsh environments —
for example, in parasite-based modpacks where you’re forced to survive underground in enclosed spaces without access to crops.

🧪 IC2 BIOMASS

Stuck underground or in extreme conditions with no access to plants?

No problem.

Using the Rotting Tank and a series of chemical processes, you can produce biomass from your own nectar.

Biomass is essential — it’s used in:
