Harvest Harmony

> **Beta release:** Harvest Harmony was created primarily for the MineFantasy modpack and reflects its own food, seed, and crop choices. It may be useful in other modpacks using the same mods, but it is still in active testing.

It currently provides compatibility between Farmer's Delight, Farm & Charm, Crock Pot, and Kaleidoscope Cookery.

Harvest Harmony reduces duplicate base ingredients across compatible food mods without removing the original recipes, machines, wild plants, crops, loot sources, or special mechanics.

Different mods can keep producing food through their own systems, while relevant outputs and recipe inputs converge around a selected canonical ingredient.

 Important: fixed choices for now

This beta does **not** include a configuration menu or per-ingredient settings yet.

The canonical items, seeds, and crops are currently fixed to match the MineFantasy modpack. These choices are intentional and may not suit every modpack.

Butter is intentionally not unified.

## How it works

- Equivalent ingredient recipes can accept the unified ingredient group.
- Relevant duplicate recipe outputs are redirected to the canonical item or seed.
- Loot outputs are normalized only for the explicitly configured base ingredients and seeds.
- Duplicate base ingredients and seeds are hidden from creative tabs without unregistering or deleting them.
- Original recipes, machines, crops, wild plants, structure generation, and special mechanics remain available.
- Kaleidoscope Compat Unified Mode is not required and should remain disabled.

## Compatibility

Harvest Harmony is designed around:

- Kaleidoscope Cookery
- MineColonies

The mod loads after these mods when they are present. It does not require Culinary Compat, although both mods can be installed together.

## Beta notes

This project is still being tested in a real modpack environment. Please report unexpected recipe conflicts, missing conversions, world-generation issues, or incompatibilities with additional food mods.

MineColonies compatibility for the Farm & Charm Tomato crop is currently limited because that crop does not use the standard `CropBlock` route expected by the MineColonies Farmer.
