Soul Revival is a hardcore multiplayer server mod designed to give players a balanced, immersive, and highly configurable way to rescue their teammates from permanent death.

Whether you play with the Hardcore Revival mod (downed state + revive timer) or in vanilla hardcore, once a player's timer expires and they are sent to Spectator mode, they aren't gone forever. Teammates can craft advanced items to pull their souls back to the land of the living.

Features

Server-Side Friendly GUI: Right-clicking a revival item opens a secure virtual chest menu displaying the heads of all dead players (complete with their actual skins!). Simply click a head to initiate the revival.
Offline Revival Queueing: Teammates don't even need to be online to be saved. Revive them while they're offline, and they will automatically log back in restored to Survival mode.
Smart Safety Spawning: Prevents players from being revived inside blocks, lava, fire, or the void. The mod automatically scans a 5x5x5 area around the revival spot to find the nearest safe block.
Invulnerability Grace Period: Revived players spawn with 10 seconds of complete invulnerability (Resistance V), have active fires extinguished, and negative effects cleared so they don't instantly die again.
Revival Sickness (Balancing): To prevent combat abuse and preserve hardcore progression, revived players are struck with configurable debuffs (Weakness III & Slowness II for 10m, Mining Fatigue I & Hunger II for 5m).
Command Support: Includes /soulrevive with tab-completion for dead players. Free for operators/creative mode, and item-consuming for survival players.
Aesthetic Visuals: Features custom 16x16 pixel-art item textures, enchanted glint overrides, and floating soul particles with totem sounds upon a successful revival.
