A mod that converts Hardcore mode into a life system: instead of losing the world forever on your first death, you start with several lives that regenerate automatically over real time.
Features
You start with 3 lives (configurable) that are lost one by one when you die, instead of losing the world all at once. Each lost life regenerates automatically every 24 real-world hours (configurable).
When you lose a life, this happens: real death (you drop your inventory), immediate respawn without a respawn screen, 3 seconds of spectator mode, and 3 seconds of invulnerability when you start playing again. A large title and a breaking-heart animation also appear.
When you run out of lives, you remain in permanent spectator mode in that world—just like in true hardcore mode—until you’re forgiven or a life regenerates.
It includes a HUD centered at the top of the screen with hardcore-style hearts, and in the player list (Tab), you can see each player’s avatar along with their death counter, along with a row showing your lives and the time until the next one.
