Handcrafted: Adapted 4.0.3 — Initial Release

First public release of the unofficial Handcrafted adaptation for Minecraft 26.2.

• Ported Handcrafted gameplay functionality to Minecraft 26.2.
• Added compatibility with the current NeoForge APIs.
• Added dedicated-server support.
• Added client/server adaptation version verification.
• Added support for modern item model definitions.
• Restored Handcrafted blocks, furniture, decorations and recipes.
• Restored Skeleton Trophy and Witch Trophy rendering.
• Fixed missing item models and pink-and-black item textures.
• Fixed texture flickering on chairs, benches and other furniture.
• Fixed visible seams and uneven patterns on tablecloth models.
• Added the updated project logo.

External Assets

This public release does not redistribute the original Handcrafted models, textures, sounds or other protected assets.

Download the official Handcrafted 4.0.3 release for Minecraft 1.21.1 and place its JAR in:

config/handcrafted-adapted/external-assets

Both the Fabric and NeoForge versions of the official Handcrafted 4.0.3 JAR can be used as the asset source.

Do not place the original Minecraft 1.21.1 JAR in the mods folder.

When the required asset JAR is missing, the game continues to the main menu and displays a warning notification. The complete required path is also written to latest.log.

Multiplayer

• The adapted Handcrafted JAR and Resourceful Lib are required on the server.
• Every client must install the adapted Handcrafted JAR and Resourceful Lib.
• Every client must provide the official Handcrafted asset JAR locally.
• The official asset JAR is not required on a dedicated server.
• Servers do not transmit models or textures to players.
