Ore Mining & Enchantments

Hammers are intentionally designed as excavation tools rather than ore-harvesting tools.

• Hammers mine stone and similar blocks to quickly expose ore veins.
• Ores should be mined with a normal pickaxe to fully benefit from Fortune, Silk Touch, and vanilla ore mechanics.
• Silk Touch and Fortune behave normally on the directly mined block if Silk Touch or Fortune is applied to the Hammer or Excavator, but are not currently applied to every additional block affected by area mining.
