- Faster chunk loading: doors, stairs, fences, levers, snow and rails are now built off the main thread, and smooth lighting is cheaper to compute
- Less memory churn and fewer GC stutters while chunks load, especially on MojoLauncher
- Entity and block entity render distance options; settings split into Quality and Performance tabs
- Renderer stats and frame timings in F3, with a BetterF3 module
- UniTweaks compatibility: its render distance slider now works, and the Halite button no longer covers its options
