GXGCRAFT brings unusual weapons, mysterious structures, powerful bosses, and recruitable companions into your Minecraft world. Build a home, explore your surroundings, and pay attention to anything that seems out of place.

Some encounters reward curiosity. Others punish it. We’re leaving a few details for you to discover.

GETTING STARTED

Settle down and sleep regularly in the same bed. Keep a chest or another container nearby—you might find something inside that you didn’t put there.

GXG’s crafting recipes are available in your recipe book from the beginning. Some equipment is crafted, while other items come from exploration, boss encounters, or earning a companion’s trust.

WEAPONS AND SPECIAL ITEMS

GXG’s arsenal includes a variety of weapons inspired by virtual youtubers in the GxG Vtuber Projekt. Check your recipe book for craftable equipment; some rewards require a little more work.

A few things to look forward to:

• Kokomo: A returning weapon with a toggleable grapple mode. Pull yourself toward blocks, drag targets toward you, and hit enemies on the return trip.
  
  
• Cellophane: Fae Galaga’s colorful raygun. Earn her friendship—and bring extra emeralds—to obtain your own. Its rubber duck accessory has something to say.
  
  
• Queen of the Stone Age: Miwawa’s floating grimoire. Feed her enough fish to earn it, then spend experience on homing holy stars and additional spells.
  
  
• Dear Maria: Alysia’s enchanted hat. It offers strong protection and magical evasive abilities, but she won’t part with it immediately.
  
  
• Strange Lantern: An unusual home decoration with a much greater purpose. Give it time.
  
  
• Coven Tome: A book that gathers Bohemia’s scattered letters into one readable collection. Complete it to reveal the Tome of the Tenth Torch.

MEET YOUR COMPANIONS

Friendly companions are unique: there is only one friendly version of each NPC per world. Some fight beside you, some offer special rewards, and some simply make themselves comfortable.

• Umi: Find your first companion by exploring your local shrines! Onis like to hide inside sacred stones, Maybe heat one up and see what's inside?
• Jolyne: Sleep in the same bed for five nights, then check the nearest container for a mysterious bottle. Befriend her to gain a canine companion.
  
• Miwawa: After three nights in the same bed, you may acquire an unexpected houseguest. She likes fish, naps, and your bed. She contributes very little—and disturbing her is a terrible idea.
  
• Heidi Nachtnebel: Watch outside your home at night after your third night of sleep. This vampire has a demand. Earn her loyalty and she can drain enemies to heal you, fire pink beams, summon damaging whirlwinds, and unleash a rarer fog attack.
  
• Nero: An aquatic companion tied to the Mariana encounters. Her combat abilities echo her boss counterpart, and once tamed, she is protected from death.
  
• Fae Galaga: Defeat her boss counterpart to meet her friendly form beneath the ship. An emerald earns her companionship; further gifts can earn you Cellophane.
• Alysia: Survive Bohemia’s central challenge and look for her back at your Overworld home. A fire charge can win her over, while more gifts may persuade her to share her prized hat.
• Archie and Wukong: Their stories are tied to the High Meridian facility. Explore, read, and investigate to discover how to bring them home.

BOSSES AND PLACES TO EXPLORE

• High Meridian Facility: A sprawling laboratory filled with locked areas, computer messages, strange sounds, and secrets. Malice waits within. If brute force isn’t working, the facility may hold something you overlooked.
• Mariana Mosasaur: Go fishing, and hunt for a rare aquatic threat with 1,200 health. Prepare before pursuing what lurks beneath the water.
• GALACTIC EMPRESS GALAGA: A raygun-wielding boss aboard a hovering spaceship. Find its tractor beam to board. Fire is especially effective against her, and she can return for another fight after a Minecraft day. Use /findtheship to locate the ship.
• Alysia, the Burning Witch of Bohemia: A fire-wielding boss with flame walls, burning terrain, and an increasingly dangerous second phase. The central altar lets you challenge her again.

BEYOND THE LANTERN

After seven nights in the same bed, check your nearby chest for the Strange Lantern. Place it and wait three days for it to awaken.

Beyond it lies Bohemia: a fogbound grove of witch houses, a ceremonial throne, and a central ritual circle. Search desks and barrels, collect the coven’s 32 letters, and learn what happened there.

The houses hold supplies, relics, and a rare collectible painting. The woods hold something else.

Watch the windows. Be careful what you carry. And remember where you entered.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING

• Keep experience available for weapons and spells that consume it.
• Companions support the mod’s flag permissions and JourneyMap integration.
• Automatic jumpscares can be disabled; deliberately activated scare buttons still work.
• Read the letters and computer messages. They contain more than background lore.
