GTQualityNeo is a quality-of-life addon for the GregTech 6 NeoForge port on Minecraft 26.1.2. It must be installed on both the server and client.

Features

Machine and Item Interaction

• Mold Engraving: Sneak-right-click an empty mold while holding a chisel to select a shape through a paginated GUI or clear its current shape. The last selected shape is shown first.
• Hopper Models: Provides selection and collision shapes that match GT6 hopper models, including covers. Holding a wrench, adjustable wrench, or screwdriver enables full-block selection.
• GUI Fluid Interaction: Fill or empty containers directly through fluid slots in basic machine GUIs. Shift-click to process multiple containers. Output slots only allow fluid extraction. Failed operations consume neither containers nor fluids.
• Creative Fluid Tanks: Available through the creative inventory or JEI, with no crafting recipe. Right-click to configure the fluid, output rate, and automatic output. Select fluids using JEI ghost ingredients, GT6 fluid display items, or fluid containers without consuming them. The output rate defaults to 1000 L/tick; setting it to 0 stops output.
• Obstructed Machine Interaction: Allows interaction with obstructed machine faces when enabled in the configuration.
• Automatic Resin Bag Extraction: Allows hoppers and other item interfaces to extract resin products from the sides of resin bags.
• Stored Item Form Switching: Right-click a GT6 item barrel or mass storage with a chisel to switch between material forms. Preserves material remainders, capacity limits, custom names, and item data components.

HUD and Interface

• Jade Integration: Displays machine status, recipe progress, actual item and fluid outputs, inventories, tanks, and mining information. Includes details for crucibles, molds, boilers, burning boxes, engines, reactors, shafts, wires, and other GT6 devices.
• Storage Tooltips: Shows only the contents of item barrels, groups identical items in chests, and displays the selected compartment of four-slot drawers based on where the player is looking. Fluid amounts and capacities use GT6's native large-number storage.
• Multiblock Information: Displays controller information when looking at multiblock parts, including controllers outside the client's loaded chunks.
• Tool Status Bars: Displays continuous durability and charge bars for GT6 tools. This rendering feature is disabled when DuraDisplay is detected.
• JEI Integration: Supports recipe filling for the Advanced Crafting Table using GT6 and vanilla crafting categories. Ingredients can come from the workbench's storage slots or the player's inventory. The workbench's second storage interface does not support recipe filling.

Jade and JEI are optional. Jade must be installed on both the server and client to synchronize machine details. Jade settings separately control machine details, special device details, and mining details.

Movement and Collision

• Scaffold Movement: Provides configurable additional climbing and descending speeds based on viewing direction while preserving sneak-to-stop behavior. Removes collision from the two far-side posts. Additional climbing speed defaults to 0 when gaiablossom is detected.
• Trapdoor Air Intake: Closed, non-waterlogged trapdoors can serve as air intakes for solid, liquid, and fluidized-bed burning boxes.
• Small Cover Selection Boxes: Uses the actual combined boundaries for small torch and pressure valve covers.

Survival and Protection

• Heat-Resistant Suit Fire Immunity: Wearing a complete set of heat-resistant protective equipment recognized by GT6 grants immunity to fire damage.

Configuration

• gtqualityneo-common.toml: Jade integration.
• gtqualityneo-client.toml: Tool status bars.
• gtqualityneo-server.toml: Machine interaction, GUI fluid interaction, resin bag extraction, fire immunity, and scaffold movement.

Set jadeIntegration=false to disable all GTQualityNeo Jade registrations. A restart is required; GT6's own Jade integration remains controlled by GT6.

Server settings synchronize to clients. Scaffold speeds range from 0 to 2; setting either speed to 0 disables that additional movement.
