GTNH Additional Crafts

GTNH Additional Crafts is an addon for GregTech: New Horizons focused on expanding existing GTNH and GT++ systems without adding unnecessary new items.

The mod adds new processing chains, fuel options, machine patches, and extra uses for underused fluids and chemicals such as Nitrogen, Naphtha, Glycerol, Phenol, Biomass, Kerosene, and more.

Main Features

Large Combustion Engine Patch

This mod patches the Large Combustion Engine with several new features.

It adds Dinitrogen Tetroxide / N2O4 as a valid oxidizer.

It adds an overclock mode toggle using screwdriver right-click.

Overclock mode has configurable output and efficiency scaling.

The patched LCE also supports 16A dynamo hatches.

Dinitrogen Tetroxide consumption can be configured.

Machine Patches

KekzTech SOFC MK1

The KekzTech Solid Oxide Fuel Cell MK1 now supports optional Helium usage.

When Helium is available, the SOFC consumes Helium to reduce Oxygen and fuel consumption.

This gives Helium another practical late-game use without replacing Oxygen entirely.

GT++ Rocket Fuel Generators

GT++ Rocket Fuel Generators now support an overclock mode.

The mode can be toggled with screwdriver right-click.

Overclock mode gives 2x output, but reduces fuel efficiency while active.

Vacuum Freezer Patch

The Vacuum Freezer now receives a small speed bonus when Nitrogen is available.

If Nitrogen is supplied in input hatches, the Vacuum Freezer consumes 250 L/s Nitrogen and runs 8% faster.

Rocket Fuel Support

This mod adds Jet Fuel A as a valid rocket fuel for GT++ rocket engines and Rocketdyne.

New Chemical Recipes

Large Chemical Reactor recipes:

Oxygen + Nitrogen + IC-9 -> Nitric Oxide

RP-1 + Nitrogen + Oxygen + IC-22 -> CN3H7O3 Rocket Fuel

1000L Naphtha + Platinum Dust catalyst -> 400L Naphthalene + 300L Hydrogen + 200L Methane

IC-1: 500L Glycerol + 500L Nitrogen Dioxide -> 750L Glyceryl Trinitrate

IC-2: 1000L Glycerol + 500L Hydrogen -> 600L Methane + 400L Water

IC-1: Methanol + Carbon Monoxide + Hydrogen -> Ethanol

IC-24: 9x Methanol + 9x Carbon Monoxide + 9x Hydrogen -> 9x Ethanol

The IC-24 Ethanol recipe is a 9x batch version with 9x time and 9x output.

Chemical Reactor recipes:

Acetaldehyde + Hydrogen -> Ethanol

IC-1: 500L Glycerol + 500L Nitrogen Dioxide -> 750L Glyceryl Trinitrate

Fermenter recipe:

IC-1: 1000L Glycerol -> 700L Vinegar

GT++ Chemical Dehydrator recipe:

2 CH4 -> C2H2 + 3 H2

Compressor recipe:

8x Algae Biomass -> 1x GT++ Compost

Algae Processing Chain

This mod adds a new algae-based processing chain.

Green Algae Biomass can be processed in the Fermenter into Crushed Algae.

Crushed Algae and 140L Water can be processed in the Brewery into 140L Biomass.

Biomass can then be processed in the Chemical Reactor into Water, CO2, and Organic Residue.

Water, CO2, and Organic Residue can be processed in the Electrolyzer into Hydrogen and Oxygen.

GT++ Cellulose Processing

This mod adds GT++ cellulose support in the Brewery.

2x GT++ Cellulose Fiber + 1000L Water -> 500L Biomass

Crude Bio-tar Processing

This mod adds a new fluid called Crude Bio-tar.

Industrial Coke Oven recipe:

IC-4 + 1000L Biomass + 250L Nitrogen -> 500L Crude Bio-tar + 2x Carbon Dust

Distillation Tower recipes:

IC-1 + 1000L Crude Bio-tar produces:

400L Biogas

100L Water

200L Wood Vinegar

130L Light Fuel

Thaumic Boots Integration

This mod integrates with the GTNH Thaumic Boots fork and adds an in-game control panel for the currently equipped Thaumic Boots pair.

Opening the Thaumic Boots Controls

You can open the controls by pressing B.

The keybind is rebindable in Minecraft Controls.
